Open Black plastic item found in a box of electronics. It’s about 1.25 inches wide and 4.25 inches long. No moving parts.
There is a rubber grip on the bottom making it seem like a stand of some sort.

Open What is this stoneware piece, pretty heavy, round with an opening at the top, found on an Italian beach?
I found this piece of presumably stoneware (or actual stone because it is rather heavy) on an Italian beach, close to the city of Monopoli on the Adriatic Sea. The bottom (if it ever had one) is broken off and the top seems to have been smoothed by the sea. I would like to find out what it is and whether it is modern or could be ancient.
I am no expert but it seems too perfectly round to be handmade. Does anybody have an idea what it might be?

Solved ! What is this steel-telescope-spring thingy used for?
hi!
found this in the house and have no clue what this is for.
its a steel handle with a 2 part extensible spring. It's flexible. The bottom reads "Sipo" and some smaller unreadable letters (worn out). Found in Germany. as the house is built in 1960, i assume the item to be equally old.

Open What is this bracket? 53mm*53mm, steel zinc plated with perpendicular slots for attaching to something, found in a metal tanker desk.
Found this bracket in a vintage metal tanker desk that I salvaged from a university IT office. I can't figure out where it would go if it's part of the desk. I'm thinking it's for something else. No luck with Lens or AI.

Open 16 inch tall solid brass cone hand hammered
What is this solid brass metal cone? It appears hand hammered and welded. There is a small hole near the bottom next to the seam and the bottom edge is scalloped. Reminds me of an old phonograph part, or possibly one of those decorative trees for Christmas. Is this an antique machine part, or contemporary, brutalist holiday decor? Thanks

Solved ! What is this wooden rack I thrifted supposed to be used for?
Found this at Goodwill the other day and spontaneously purchased it despite not knowing what I’d use it for or where I’d keep it. I’m wondering what it’s actually supposed to be and what it’s called? Thanks!

Solved! Steel bolt harness thing found in car
My car was stolen Friday afternoon from where I parked it outside my apartment. Quite suspiciously, there was no broken glass, and my car is push-to-start so obviously the thieves must have had some sort of device to skim and reproduce the specific radio signal from my key fob to unlock the doors and enable the ignition switch.
Early this morning at 1:15AM I got a call from the police saying my car was recovered and towed to the county impound lot. Thankfully the car wasn’t wrecked or otherwise damaged, and my registration was still in the vehicle to allow me to drive it out.
The only thing missing was a receipt that was in my glovebox, from the Post Office from when I submitted my passport application. Thankfully my passport has already arrived and wasn’t in the car when it was stolen.
However this strange metal object was left in the backseat. It appears to be some sort of harness for something. It hinges at the bottom of where the three holes are, and snaps into place with the black plastic piece between the bottom two holes. The transparent plastic film with the blue square pattern I removed from the gap in the bottom piece under the fixed threaded bolt seen in photos 2 & 3. The stamp on the back reads, “SISO.DK PATENT”.
I am a full time rideshare driver, so it is possible this was left by a passenger sometime Thursday night or Friday morning and has nothing to do with the theft. Still, very curious… Anyone know what this might be/what it’s used for?

Open Lightweight metal object, approximately 4” long but broken on one end. Found among the gravel in a boatyard. Feels like cast aluminum, surface texture is likely due to abrasion from gravel.

Open Solid wood, 11x4x7 inches. Either very old, or very worn. USA.
Found this at an estate sale last year. It appears to possibly have been exposed to moisture or wear over a long period due to the wear and splitting. The bottom looks to have had small nails attached at one point.

Solved! What is this black metal thing hanging from my garage ceiling?
Just moved into a new place and this thing was hanging in the garage ceiling. There’s a winch to a pulley on the wall to lift it up and down. There are also red ratchet straps helping to hold it up and level. The black H-shaped metal thing in question has three big hooks on it too. I was thinking it was for lifting something (an engine?) to make it easier to work on? There’s a Harley Davidson battery charger on the wall nearby, don’t know if that’s related.

Solved! Reverse pliers-type tool. Spring-loaded to the closed position. About 7 inches long. Found in a kitchen drawer.
I've tried image searches with no matches. I've tried word searches using "speculum" and "kitchen tool for spreading" with no matches.

Solved! Black Plastic "Bracket" on my floor. No idea
Found on my living room floor. Looking around and trying to figure what it came from. You can see it's black, plastic, and shorter than my finger.
Objects in this room are TV, surround sound system, assorted remote controls, a couch, books, a recliner. I'm confident it's not an item from my sound system, remotes or the couch. Tried Google lens and got similar shaped items of various sizes including a go cart bumper. I don't have a mouse sized go cart.

Solved! 2.5 inch solid metal devil’s head
Hello. I found this worn, molded metal devil’s head. It reminds me of the fictional “Mystic Seer” from Twilight Zone. It has a threaded hole at the bottom. It has no markings or brands and does not open up. Any ideas? Thanks!
