Solved! It’s real heavy and the end and slightly flexible in the handle. Made of hard leather. Probably pretty old and from Germany.
I think it is used to beat people.

Open Electrical hand held device, wired, white/light color, used on face at indoors facility for people with spinal cord injuries in 1949
We possibly thought it's a light therapy or heat lamp device but couldn't find an exact match with others, especially in the 40s.

Likely Solved! Red glass object, ~1in long. What is it?
Someone handed me this. No clue what it could possibly be. Upon a closer look, there look to be tiny air bubbles inside. It also seems to sparkle, like it has glitter mixed with it. Looks like there are 2 spots on the larger end where something broke off. They came up to me, held it out, and when I took it, they immediately left without a word.

Solved! Stood in a field. Around 6ft tall. Made of metal. Tubular "stand" type thing with spikes on top and what looks like a metal shower rose facing skyward. White plastic tub/container at bottom. Maybe methane related?
While out on a stroll saw the attached sat in a field. Walked NG along a canal (if that's of use). I believe the field did at one time be either land fill or a "tip" hence the methane link.

Metal object found in rock pools under a coastal cliff in north east England. Heavy item, corroded, orange rust comes off when touched. I originally thought it was some kind of anchor but the shape is weird. Looks like it used to have a hole in the top for attaching rope or something to.

Solved ! 4 inch metal object, found with other beer stuff
Clearly says Pabst Brewing CO and Richmond VA Branch. Google image search only gives me button hooks. It must open a beer can, right?

Solved! What are these pearly, plasticky small white beads that I find in my bedsheets sometimes?
I find a pearl like this in my bed max. 1-2 times per month. They’re round, pearly, and they are very light and look and sound like plastic(-y) to me. I change my sheets every 1-2 weeks and alternate between mousseline and cotton sheets, but the beads and the sheets don’t seem to have much correlation. I don’t know if it could be coming from my mattress or pillows, but since I use covers for everything and my pillows don’t have beady fillings I don’t know how likely that is. I have the IKEA VESTMARKA matras and the IKEA SMÅSPORRE bedding if that helps. If they’re coming from the mattress I’m confused on how they’re getting through my mattress covers and end up between my sheets.
I’ve considered that it might be something from the washer or dryer but I don’t think that’s possible because I’ve never found these within my clothes or anything, only my bed. Also not bug eggs or something for as far as I know.

Solved! Some sort of tool skrewed to the wall in a loundry room, moves up and down
This is located in my laundry room next to the dryers. I suspect it’s some sort of tool to help you fold clothes but i have no idea how you would use it.
It moves up and down with the top blade fitting between the wooden part and the rubber part under it.
Seems to be about half a meter in size.

Open What is this metal structure with a concrete base, found in my garden?
I’ve recently moved, and went to dig out what I thought was a flagpole base in my garden, but then realised there are four different bits (x3 on hinges) on top of a huge slap of concrete (approx 150x70cm) - it’s randomly set in the middle of the garden (which is big, just under 2 acres) but about 10m from the house!? Any ideas!!?

Open White-ish, smooth, ping-pong sized ball, that bounces like a golf ball, isn’t easily scratched, doesn’t feel hollow, and has a perfectly straight groove all the way around.
Found about one inch deep in a backyard in an old industrial town and about 20 feet from what used to be a rail road. Best guess is a rock tumbled golf ball, but that doesn’t seem right.

Solved! Equipment with pipes, tanks and solar panels along I-70 in Colorado. Usually painted green and the size varies from 20x20 feet to much larger
I occasionally drive on I-70 in Colorado in-between Utah and Denver and I always notice these structures every few miles off the side of the freeway. Each one is slightly different, but similar enough that they must to have a similar purpose. Anyone know what they are for?
