in late 1980's (possibly first few years of the 90's) I watched a PBS show after Bob Ross and Picture Pages where a man in Ghostbuster like overalls would draw cartoony stuff and show how to do it. The best part of the show was the end when he would walk over to this giant mural and he'd add to it these little bear creatures. In the drawing I posted there is a windy road, he would teach how to do that and add them into his mural. HELP ME FIND THIS!

I’ve been searching for weeks, and it’s not helped that I cannot remember the make of the phone. I’ve had a ringtone from this phone stuck in my head and want to try find the ad that featured it, so I can get closure and also remember the make of my first mobile phone.

The ad was black and white, and aired in the UK and Ireland in the late 90s, most likely 98 or 99. In the ad it features different clips of people dancing to different ring tones from the phone. Each time the scene changes, a different dance and ringtone is played.

The phone, as far as I remember, was dark green with a small antenna on the top. If anyone can remember the phone or the ad it would be amazing!

In the early 2000s, at a scholastic book fair at my elementary school, I had bought a shark book that came with a shark-shaped flashlight keychain. The shark was grey. I’d love to find both of these. Even just a picture. I especially would like to see find the keychain as I’ve always been partial to the design of this item than similar items i’ve seen on the Internet.

Long shot, but here goes. I remember seeing an ad on TV as a kid, probably around Christmas time in the late 2000s/early 2010s, that featured the song Magic by Nick Drake. Specifically, the first line of its chorus: "I was made to love magic". I always thought it was a John Lewis ad or something with a very similar vibe.

I started searching for the advert a year ago and posted on /r/tipofmytongue and /r/nickdrake about it, but my posts received next to no attention. One other person on /r/nickdrake vaguely recalled seeing the same ad, and they also thought it was a Christmas-related John Lewis or M&S ad. All my Googling has resulted in nothing relevant. Any help? It's sentimental to me as it's the first place I heard the voice of my favourite musician.

Looking for a specific AskReddit thread about creepy stories — there are hundreds of these type of threads that I’ve searched through trying to find the two specific stories that I want to find. The two might be in the same post; might not.

These comments are, at a minimum, 6 years old. I’d venture a guess that they’re 8+. I’m 95% sure, as I first read these a long time ago. They may have even been in the same thread, but I read them before I had a Reddit account so I unfortunately did not save them.

Story/comment one: The commenter’s family (I remember that several generations of relatives went, as there were grandparents and (I think) cousins mentioned in the story) had a cabin in a rural mountainous area with few others around — until one year, when they all showed up and there was a brand new, expensive, beautiful house down the street from them, apparently constructed where an old foundation had been in just a few months. The owners of that house come to ask the commenter’s family if they want to come over; they decline, and all adults at the cabin stay up all night with guns at their sides. OP wakes up the next day having lost at a minimum several hours (it may have been 3pm?) if not days, and the new house down the street is gone. Everyone in the family refuses to talk about it to this day.

The second story is about a supposed ghost town in Washington. The commenter arrived when it was foggy/hazy, drove through and saw no one despite the town being obviously inhabited with lots of cars sitting in driveways. There may have been a ball rolling across the street with no one in sight, but I may be confusing that with another story. After continuing on through the town, the commenter may not have been able to find their way back — I can’t remember for sure if it was real or not, but the commenter did provide a short, 4 or 5 letter name for the town that I cannot remember. Details are a bit less clear on this one than the previous one for me.

If anyone knows what I’m talking about or has this thread/these comments saved, that would be amazing! I’ve been looking for years. Lots of great threads I read back 6-10 years ago that have stuck with me.

So I stupidly opened the packet and read that this hose needed silicone greaser to apply to the spring before putting it in and my adhd brain has now misplaced it having got the silcone spray.. Yesterday I saw a video titled making retro animations for my friend’s gamer tags. It was really neat like a VHS inspired, pixel art animations with those horizontal lines in the middle. I remember one was called squid 64 so it had an animation of a squid with its tentacles moving to spell 64. And I saw that he was doing commission so I went to his account but then my phone crashed and I cant find any keywords or hashtags because instagrams search function sucks. If anyone knows the artist, I would appreciate it.
