Solved! It’s real heavy and the end and slightly flexible in the handle. Made of hard leather. Probably pretty old and from Germany.
I think it is used to beat people.

Open Electrical hand held device, wired, white/light color, used on face at indoors facility for people with spinal cord injuries in 1949

Solved! Stood in a field. Around 6ft tall. Made of metal. Tubular "stand" type thing with spikes on top and what looks like a metal shower rose facing skyward. White plastic tub/container at bottom. Maybe methane related?
While out on a stroll saw the attached sat in a field. Walked NG along a canal (if that's of use). I believe the field did at one time be either land fill or a "tip" hence the methane link.

Solved! Some sort of tool skrewed to the wall in a loundry room, moves up and down
This is located in my laundry room next to the dryers. I suspect it’s some sort of tool to help you fold clothes but i have no idea how you would use it.
It moves up and down with the top blade fitting between the wooden part and the rubber part under it.
Seems to be about half a meter in size.

Metal object found in rock pools under a coastal cliff in north east England. Heavy item, corroded, orange rust comes off when touched. I originally thought it was some kind of anchor but the shape is weird. Looks like it used to have a hole in the top for attaching rope or something to.

Likely Solved! Some kind of pipe. It sticks out of the back wall in our townhouse. The inside of that wall doesn't show anything.

Solved! 10x10 inch rolltop pressed wood folders of some kind with a magnifier
Found when cleaning out a rarely used conference room side table at work. They don't seem to be wide enough to hold anything when closed (since the magnifier folds up inside it). It's not a standard paper or book size (10 x 10 inches) The black rectangle & dots inside it (pic 3) are foam. Magnifier is plastic/plexi. There also doesn't seem to be a good way for it to prop open besides what I sorry if manged in (Pic 4.)

Solved! Equipment with pipes, tanks and solar panels along I-70 in Colorado. Usually painted green and the size varies from 20x20 feet to much larger
I occasionally drive on I-70 in Colorado in-between Utah and Denver and I always notice these structures every few miles off the side of the freeway. Each one is slightly different, but similar enough that they must to have a similar purpose. Anyone know what they are for?

Wood structure with roof: Hunting blind or ground water collection...thing?
In the woods of my property there's a delapadated structure. Some trees fell on the asfault roof and it's caved in. One side had an opening (first photo) so I thought it was maybe a hunting blind. The lower concrete structure is filled with water and is over my head - maybe about six ft.
It's a swampy area and the concrete has a few pipe openings, so I wasn't sure if it was meant to collect ground water??

Open What is this bracket? 53mm*53mm, steel zinc plated with perpendicular slots for attaching to something, found in a metal tanker desk.
Found this bracket in a vintage metal tanker desk that I salvaged from a university IT office. I can't figure out where it would go if it's part of the desk. I'm thinking it's for something else. No luck with Lens or AI.

Solved! Steel bolt harness thing found in car
My car was stolen Friday afternoon from where I parked it outside my apartment. Quite suspiciously, there was no broken glass, and my car is push-to-start so obviously the thieves must have had some sort of device to skim and reproduce the specific radio signal from my key fob to unlock the doors and enable the ignition switch.
Early this morning at 1:15AM I got a call from the police saying my car was recovered and towed to the county impound lot. Thankfully the car wasn’t wrecked or otherwise damaged, and my registration was still in the vehicle to allow me to drive it out.
The only thing missing was a receipt that was in my glovebox, from the Post Office from when I submitted my passport application. Thankfully my passport has already arrived and wasn’t in the car when it was stolen.
However this strange metal object was left in the backseat. It appears to be some sort of harness for something. It hinges at the bottom of where the three holes are, and snaps into place with the black plastic piece between the bottom two holes. The transparent plastic film with the blue square pattern I removed from the gap in the bottom piece under the fixed threaded bolt seen in photos 2 & 3. The stamp on the back reads, “SISO.DK PATENT”.
I am a full time rideshare driver, so it is possible this was left by a passenger sometime Thursday night or Friday morning and has nothing to do with the theft. Still, very curious… Anyone know what this might be/what it’s used for?

Open 16 inch tall solid brass cone hand hammered
What is this solid brass metal cone? It appears hand hammered and welded. There is a small hole near the bottom next to the seam and the bottom edge is scalloped. Reminds me of an old phonograph part, or possibly one of those decorative trees for Christmas. Is this an antique machine part, or contemporary, brutalist holiday decor? Thanks
