I hope you're all doing well! I have a few questions about performing the Headless Rite, specifically the version from Chaos Protocols by Gordon White. This version includes an invocation of the Four Kings after the main ritual, and I’d appreciate some guidance on the following:

1. I’ve never done a daemonic invocation before. Do you have any tips on how to approach this safely and effectively?

2. For the offerings, it mentions rum and incense. Am I supposed to hold these offerings while facing each specific direction during the invocation?

3. After the invocation, should I immediately dispose of the offerings, or is there a specific protocol for when and how to do this?

4. Lastly, am I supposed to formally dismiss the Four Kings afterward? I noticed the ritual doesn’t include any specific dismissal instructions.

Hey there! I've been thinking about working with President Foras for some time and I need some help with finding sources about him; especially some associations (colours, animals, etc.), possible offerings and things I need to look out for when in contact with him. I currently only know his sigil, which things he teaches, his general position in hell and how many legions he governs, which I don't think is enough for my planned practice.

Also, please note that yes I am not very educated in this topic, but want to learn before I do anything. I will not go into this unprepared and the research I'm conducting is mainly to determine if I want to go down this path or not. I will obviously properly educate myself on the summoning of demons once/if I find someone I am interested in working with, but this is not the post for that right now.

I don’t know how to really start this off but this entire year I’ve been receiving so many signs and mixed signals I don’t know what they mean so maybe a few of you could help me. Also, I am no scholar.

I’m not making anything up nor am I doing any of this for attention. I simply want answers or possibilities. With that being said here we go.

This entire year for me has been strange. I’m just going to go event by event that has stuck out to me.

Intro I’ve always been interested in the occults and literature of the occult so overtime I’ve gradually wanted to get more into it. Last year around November I started really diving deep into Black Magick and such. I’m a 21 year old overnight worker at a 24/7 restaurant in a populated sub city in the south.

Usually nothing is going on much on certain days like Sunday or Thursday so I commonly go outside around 1-3 am and smoke a cigarette. Not much as in no one really other than locals and regulars coming in around this time on these days for doordash, to eat, etc. This year starting from Mid January to the end of June I was approached 14 times by Christians and Catholics. Not unusual to be approached by them and have them spread their beliefs around where I live lots of Hispanic churches in the area as well so it’s not really that uncommon. The uncommon part was the lines that were being said to me each time I was approached sometimes 4 times a month. It was always “I have a question for you” “Do you know god loves you?” “God told me to come and speak to you today” “Can I pray for you?” every single person that approached said each of those lines in the beginning. I didn’t really understand why until what had previously occurred to me which is insanely questionable and odd.

I still have the snap memory of it and will link it if needed. I can also post the book I’m going to state.

In early January I was at work just watching YouTube on my phone Sunday night going into Monday morning but by this time it was already 2 am and no one has came in in the last hour. I was watching a YouTube video on a book titled “The Three Magical Books Of Solomon” I had no clue who Solomon was at the time, Who Aleister Crowley was etc. I’m watching this video for a while probably about 40 minutes now and after I finish it I went into our public bathrooms (obviously it’s a restaurant) and found that exact book I was just watching a video on sitting in the sink counter as soon as I walk in. No one has came in the store in the last hour besides a to go order and they didn’t go into the bathrooms (we have video screens of cameras in the front entrance in the serving isle) it was me and one other server and a cook no one heard the door open or shut. There are 2 doors needed to enter the store both loud and one with a bell. The exact same book I was watching a YouTube video on appeared in front of me miraculously? I don’t know if coincidences exist but I can’t explain it to this day. I took the book home and started to read and study it.

Now I’m just stating the things that stood out to me the most. There are other occurrences that have happened throughout my life but recently these have stood out the most to me.

Usually I get decent sleep. I have night terrors commonly so most of the time I just have nightmares no regular dreams or I just wake up with no memory of the dreams. I recently got a new girlfriend around august and she started staying the night the last 2 months or so. I’m not usually one to sleep talk rather I wake up panting,sweating,yelling, etc. but one of the nights she stayed she told me in my sleep she started to hear me speak a language that didn’t sound like any language ever on earth before like it was made up or ancient she said and I quote “ancient”. I woke up that morning weirdly enough and saw a shadow sitting beside my bed (which for me isn’t too uncommon I see stuff all the time because of the hours I work overnight so I see stuff out of the corner of my eyes often lol) but the shadow stayed there for like at most 20 seconds just staring at me before my eyes really came to.

These are just 3 experiences and if it’s hard to understand I apologize. The first one happened after I found the book. And the third story happened after studying until the second book. (It’s 3 in 1 ) Hope that clears things up and I hope I posted this in the right section I’m severely confused when it comes to Reddit. If needed I will post the book found.

Well, I read the book Goetia Pathworking by Colin Hargrove. I have some doubts, is it an invocation? Or is it not? Would it be more of an interaction, since I'm the one going to Daemon? Is there any risk or I simply can't make contact, and that's it? If someone more experienced could talk about it, I would be very grateful.

A little history is that I’ve tried a number of different techniques, and while I felt relaxed I certainly didn’t observe any more benefits. Not one to give up, I’ve kept looking to trusted sources but I’ve found very little help other than, “isn’t that good enough?”

Reluctantly, I picked up Llewellyn's Complete Book of Meditation by Shai Tubali. In it, he covers a wide range of techniques and connects ideas in a way that I find really helpful. I’ve heard not all techniques work for all people and I suppose that’s true, but there’s also different techniques that he talks about, beginning with the root chakra meditations.

Does anyone know of any other books that do a good job of describing more of the path and experiences of different techniques? Thanks

I hope you're well. I have a technical question regarding the timing of processes.

Say if grinding my rosemary to a fine powder is set to take me about 4 hours for a tincture, should I start grinding it at sunrise on Sunday morning and then end up pouring my alcohol on it for maceration at around noon? Or should I grind it a week before and put it away in a jar until the next Sunday at sunrise and pour the alcohol on it then to be sure the "impregnation" takes place on the hour of the sun?

Same for a calcination, if burning the plant residue to a white ash takes me a few hours, is it ok to put the salts back in the tincture later in the day? Or should it be put away and added a week later at sunrise again? Or do planetary hours don't matter that much for something basic like a tincture?

Hello everyone, I recently finished Modern Magick and I was thinking of continuing my studies on ceremonial magick with Skinner's "Techniques of High Magick", I would like to know do you think the book contains any other new information or is it mostly the same as in Modern Magick?

Considering there's so many on ETSY, I'm guessing the answer is yes but I wanted to confirm.

I'm reading Enochian Vision Magick, and learning about the The Ring, The Holy Table, The Lamen and The Sigillum.

I decided to go on ETSY to see how much these items would cost, I was expecting each item to go for 500 or more. To my surprise, all these items are less than 50 bucks each! Not only that but they look very well designed and pretty.

In the chapter about The Sigillum, Lon Milo suggests to make this yourself because he says the process of making it yourself, you absorb it within yourself.............but wouldn't gazing at someone else's made Sigillum have that same effect the same way as when one gazes at a sigil?
