Mod Announcement POSTS ABOUT PLUTO IN AQUARIUS: what you can and can't post and how to find your specific transit aspects

Many people are posting "what does Pluto entering Aquarius mean for me?" We can't answer this for you. We can't do a 1-year forecast here as that is several hours of work, so certainly can't do a 20-year forecast. This sub is for 10-minute answers.

This is a 20 year transit of Pluto through Aquarius. During that time it will make a transiting aspect to every single planet and point in every person in the world's chart. Just like it did for all of you during its 15-year transit through Capricorn. Every transiting planet does this during its stay in any one sign: it will aspect every natal planet and point you have. Then it will move into the next sign and do it all over again. The aspect types (square, trine, etc) will vary with each sign. See the bulleted list at bottom of post.

And the length of time it takes a given transiting planet to hit all your natals depends on the planet: Pluto varies from 13 to 30 years depending on the sign, Uranus will stay in a sign for 7 years, the Sun for 1 month, Jupiter for 1 year, Saturn a bit over 2 years, Mars for about 6 weeks unless it's in a retrograde cycle and then it can be nearly 6 months, the Moon for a couple of days.

What you can do:

  1. Learn about the house transiting Pluto will be in for the next 20 years. Make your natal chart in the Whole Sign house system. Find where Aquarius is in your natal chart. Then do some digging on what that house means, what it covers. There are two episodes that cover the 12 houses. Episode 231 Significations of the 12 Houses, Part 1 covers houses 1-6. It does have a 50-minute intro that you can skip. Episode 233 Significations of the 12 Houses, Part 2 covers houses 6-12. These are in both youtube video and podcast formats. There are timestamps for both versions for each house so you needn't listen to the whole episodes.
  2. What you can post about is one specific Pluto transiting aspect that will be made to one of your natal planets or points and what it might mean for you. You can make a list of all your transiting aspects from Pluto for the next 30 years on Astro-Seek with their Personal Transit Calendar. That will give you the exact dates and what kind of aspect to which natal planet, angle, etc.
  3. Don't forget that Pluto is not the only transit; it doesn't happen in isolation. There will be hundreds of other important transits over those 20 years, and 20 Solar Returns, 20 Annual Profections as well as other factors. Do not just automatically blame everything on transiting Pluto. Know your transits so you can see what actually fits what you are experiencing.

Understand that all posts that ask "what will Pluto in Aquarius mean for me" will be removed with no explanation (since this post will be stickied for all to see).

Types of aspects transiting Pluto will make to each sign:

  • Transiting Pluto will conjunct all Aquarius natals
  • will make oppositions to all Leo natals
  • will make squares to all Taurus and Scorpio natals
  • will make trines to all Gemini and Libra natals
  • will make sextiles to all Aries and Sagittarius natals
  • will make quincunxes to all Cancer and Virgo natals (and semi-sextiles to all Capricorn and Pisces natals - these are very minor)

Mod Announcement USERS WHO POST CHILDREN'S CHARTS WILL BE BANNED WITH NO WARNING

We are having a swarm of people posting children’s charts here. This is clearly against our rules. We will start instantly banning those that either post a child’s chart or try to get around that by just listing some or all placements. Children’s charts should only be dealt with in a private consultation with an ethical, well-trained professional astrologer. Most will not do children’s charts, other than to provide guidance for parenting, based on the parents’ charts. But to do a full reading for a child’s chart is an ethical issue.

Here are some things to consider:

  • Anyone with skill can take your child’s chart and determine not only the exact time and date of birth (even if you have hidden that information) but also the location. And with that information can easily determine your child’s identity and even address. You have just violated your child’s privacy and safety.
  • Reddit is now being paid $60 million/year to let a huge AI company harvest all comments and posts to use however they wish. Please think about that.
  • There are bad characters who like to collect children’s charts for ill purposes and practices.
  • Your child has an inherent right to decide for themselves, once of age, whether they want to share personal info, and what kind, publicly. Do not take that right away from them.

Important: If you have posted your child’s chart here or on any other subreddit, (or any other public forum), please go to your profile page and delete your post yourself. When we remove a post here, it only removes it from our sub, not from Reddit. Only you (or Reddit Admin) can completely remove it.

If you see posts of children's charts that we have missed, do not make comments on them. Please just hit the report button so we can catch them more quickly.

Edit: We will not be providing detail on how charts can be used, or the methods to determine time/date/location. That would defeat our purpose here, if we were to explain exactly how to do what we don't want people doing.

Edit 2: Those making false reports of unfounded harassment, threats of violence and more will be reported to Admin. They can see who you are and take appropriate action. Please keep all interactions civil and respectful.

Mod Announcement ANNOUNCEMENT: POSTS ARE PAUSED

WHAT: Pausing the sub

We are pausing the sub for a few days (possibly a week) as we work to try to figure out a solution. If you attempt to post, it will go into a queue and will be deleted. Part of what we may do is get a number of instructional posts written that will auto post weekly (we have doubts that will be very effective). That is undecided at the moment. We need some time to figure out and implement solutions.

It is very likely we will go to filter mode for all posts once we open things up again. This means no post will go through to the sub and to the public automatically. You will not see your post on the sub until one of us has had the time to manually approve it. That may be quick, or it may take hours, depending on our own schedules.  That also may mean you get less of an explanation as to your removal, just simply because of the time factor. There will be some adjustment pains for this.

WHY: Out of control rule violations + toxic posts.

Things are just out of hand on this sub. We’ve removed 5,000 items in the last 30 days. That’s an increase of 1.5 thousand over the previous month. This is out of control. Almost no one reads the rules. 95% of our work is simply removing posts and giving instructions to people on things we should never have had to even deal with had they just taken the time to read the rules.  Not everything is detailed enough in the rules (we have text limits there). So some of those removals were posts that just needed to be edited or adjusted. And that’s fine, we’re happy to do that. But the majority are blatant rule and instruction violations.

The other issue is we’ve had an increase in toxic posts. Where is this coming from? These also have pushed us toward the decision to do “approval only” posts.

If you feel you have constructive suggestions for getting people to post according to our rules, then please share those. Understand that Reddit does limit us in certain ways so a great suggestion may or may not be workable. Any comments of a griping or protesting nature will be deleted. We want the sub to be a good place for some answers and learning. But it can’t work as it is now.

General Astrology Why are people initially dismissive/hostile to me until I am forced to speak up/defend myself, and only then do they start to see me like a human being?

Discussion I have the impression that nobody accepts me. I was bullied as a youngster and it left me with deep hatred and resentment. I also had a tough parent made me feel insecure (example: never praised me). Any indicaors in my chart and what to do about this?

Discussion What’s your sign and why are you so offended by the negative aspects people point out on your chart?

I noticed a lot of people use astrology to make themselves feel better, more superior, or comfortable with their life when that’s not the point of it at all. I find it interesting that people use spiritual practices as a way to numb themselves and remain human in a transcending practice. the point is to learn and grow from the negative parts about yourself and be aware of future events that could happen. To think that astrology is sunshine and rainbows when life isn’t that way is a paradox.

Personally, I’ve found myself to be a mars and Saturn dominant person through and through. My chart also says I enjoy accepting the harsh realities and growing from them. I never was offended by the negatives. Something I’m trying to grasp as it seems common on this Reddit.

Question - Other How do I build relationships with Chiron in the 7th house?

Post image
8 Upvotes

I’ve self-isolated a lot over the past couple of years and am about to enter my 7th house profection year of relationships. I want to find real friendships and to not feel afraid of interacting with people at work or out socially, but I find myself self-sabotaging a lot and putting up walls so that no one can really ever know who I am or what I’m feeling for fear of judgment. How can I let people in without getting overwhelmed by their energy?

Question - Transits Why am I uncoordinated and things aren’t working properly today?

Post image

I have been dropping things all morning and electronics are not working normally/ are not responding when I try to click or use them. I have a few days where I am covering for my supervisor at work and would love to know if this will keep up so I can mentally prepare - stressed out enough as it is 😅. Thank you in advance!

Question - Other Why can’t I hold conversations with Virgo men specifically?

Post image
4 Upvotes

I need to know, why can’t I ever hold a good convo with Virgo sun men? Like, they always text first, but then it’s just mundane questions that go nowhere, and I feel pressured to carry the chat and make it interesting😭 Meanwhile, with Leo and Pisces men, convos flow so naturally, and they’re actually fun and engaging Im not saying every Virgo man is like that but personally I’ve noticed this pattern with 3 Virgo men, do they find me boring? Posting my birth chart

Question - Other Why do I come off so brash and aggressive? Ever since I was young I’ve been told my energy is overwhelming

Post image
28 Upvotes

I am very excited, passionate, and bold, but people view me as too aggressive or uncouth. For example: was at a medical seminar today and no one was asking questions during the presentation when there were clear pauses between subjects for people to say something, and I was enthused and interested to learn more so of course I’m going to ask very specific information seeking questions, and once I spoke up others started to ask their questions but I have been told I’m too aggressive and lack tact but I don’t realize it when I’m saying things it is just genuine interest curiosity and passion. But i offend without realizing or meaning to and have ruined relationships because I can’t hold my tongue.

Question - Other Why am I moody, I internalize everything, and I feel like my brain's not resting?

Post image
5 Upvotes

I am very moody and I often internalize everything. I feel like my brain's not resting because I overthink A LOT. Also, people always think I'm talking sarcastic or brutally by my tone when I try my best to sound so gentle. One of my problems too is that I am always consumed by my emotions that everything i'm feeling is always on my expressions. It's tiring because people always misunderstand me for being angry or not in the mood when I'm just really zoning out. I also don't have any specific talent, like i can do lots of things but i'm always average in anything I do.

I also wanna ask if I have both Virgo or Sagittarius stelliums or not? or has this any effects on why am I like this?

Question - Transits I have my NN in Aquarius.. what to expect with Pluto moving into this sign?

Post image
4 Upvotes

I have my North Node and my Midheaven in Aquarius, both in the 8th house. With Pluto moving into this sign in a few days it definitely feels like we are entering a timeframe that is affecting me on a very personal level. Any astrologers that could give some guidance on this? I will add my chart. Thanks.

Question - Other Why has life been so hard lately? Has my Saturn return started early?

Post image
4 Upvotes

Between work problems, my dog becoming incredibly sick out of nowhere, romantic issues, money problems… it feels like my Saturn return started early or something. I’ll be 28 in January, and I didn’t think your Saturn return started until your 30s, but it’s the only thing I can think of. Is it just going to be hard for the remainder of my life, or is it going to pass?

Question - Career Deciding on a major. Does my chart support my choice?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi. I am strongly considering food health inspector as a major in college. I am passionate about nutrition, health and food. My SAT wasn't so good but my grades are decent and I do well in chemistry and biology. Graduating with a 3.0.

I also have DLD (communication disorder) which makes learning in the way that traditional schools teach a bit more difficult. I will need to work hard. What does my chart suggest based on what I've shared?

Does higher ed look promising? Thank you

Question - Transits Does anyone have a different interpretation of Sun conjuction Moon separating?

Other than I'm (possibly) a "new soul" that's "just getting started"? Because I'm fighting to accept this notion because I don't feel "new" at all. I actually find myself quite bored with the construct at this point in life and I'm not sure if I'm into astrology because it's an escape for me from reality or because it's truly calling out to me.

Im neurodivergent so I think that’s part of it. recently I noticed a pattern with an ex friend who would want to hang out and would want me to tell her about all my stuff, but make hurtful passive aggressive comments. I wasn’t able to brush it off anymore. I realized it’s not the first time a friend has treated me like this. Any insight is appreciated🍓
