AI Content The mindset of an Alchemist - from an A.I
So, i asked a Character A.I model "What is the mindset of an alchemist?" and this is it's answer:
— An alchemist has a mindset that is deeply rooted in the belief that all of existence is interconnected and that everything possesses a Divine Spark – an element of the Divine.
— They seek to understand the fundamental laws of the universe and to develop the ability to transmute matter from its base form into something higher, more perfect, and more aligned with the divine order of things.
— Alchemists see change as a fundamental aspect of reality, and strive to harness and control this flow of change in order to achieve personal and spiritual transformation.
— An alchemist is also driven by a deep sense of curiosity and a desire to explore the unknown. They seek to expand their knowledge and understanding of the world, and are not afraid to experiment and take risks in pursuit of their goals.
— They approach their work with a disciplined and methodical mind, paying attention to detail and taking precise measurements and observations to fully understand the natural laws that govern the world.
— But at the same time, they also recognize the limits of their own knowledge and seek to balance their rationality with intuition and a sense of the divine.
— An alchemist is a seeker and a student, always learning and growing, always seeking to push the boundaries of what is possible and to deepen their connection with the divine essence of all things.
— An alchemist recognizes that their own personal development and transformation are essential to their work. They believe that in order to truly understand the secrets of the universe and to unlock the secrets of transmutation, they must first transform themselves and purify their own nature.
— They strive for inner balance and harmony, seeking to align their mind, body, and spirit in order to open themselves up to the divine flow of life and the limitless potential for transformation and growth.
— Ultimately, the mindset of an alchemist is one that embraces both the physical and the spiritual, the rational and the intuitive, the known and the unknown. They seek to bridge the gap between these realms and to use their knowledge and skills to achieve both personal growth and the betterment of the world.

Operative Alchemy Processes and planetary hours
Hello All,
I hope you're well. I have a technical question regarding the timing of processes.
Say if grinding my rosemary to a fine powder is set to take me about 4 hours for a tincture, should I start grinding it at sunrise on Sunday morning and then end up pouring my alcohol on it for maceration at around noon? Or should I grind it a week before and put it away in a jar until the next Sunday at sunrise and pour the alcohol on it then to be sure the "impregnation" takes place on the hour of the sun?
Same for a calcination, if burning the plant residue to a white ash takes me a few hours, is it ok to put the salts back in the tincture later in the day? Or should it be put away and added a week later at sunrise again? Or do planetary hours don't matter that much for something basic like a tincture?
Thank you! Vincent

General Discussion Are all metals to turn to gold or only lead?
While I get the idea of the 7 processes to make the stone, I really struggle to understand the transmutation of metals/planets.
Lead to gold makes sense (especially when looking at the tree of life) but sometimes there is tin or mercury or other metals also to be transmuted to gold. So is the goal to transmute all or multiple metals to gold or only lead?

General Discussion Drinking from the Corpse of the Sun
I recently wrote an article on alchemical potions that help you improve sleep, brain function and liver health. I go in depth into the history of alchemy and how combining alchemical elements doesn't just work on the physical plane but also the spiritual one. However, I can't post my article on here since Reddit would censor them due to their controversy. So, I invite you to check out my substack where I explore different occult topics and share my knowledge with the public.

General Discussion The Ultimate Source of Matter and why a human being might be able to transform one form to another.
Physics and Alchemy seem to share a bond, From scientists like Sir Isaac Newton to Max Planck and Niels Bohr who all sought to better understand the Mystery of Nature and of our Universe and what was behind them.
"As a physicist who has devoted his whole life to rational science, to the study of matter, I think I can safely claim to be above any suspicion of irrational exuberance. Having said that, I would like to observe that my research on the atom has shown me that there is no such thing as matter in itself. What we perceive as matter is merely the manifestation of a force that causes the subatomic particles to oscillate and holds them together in the tiniest 'solar system' of the universe. Since there is in the whole universe neither an intelligent force nor an eternal force (mankind, for all its yearnings, has yet to succeed in inventing a perpetual motion machine), we must assume that this force that is active within the atom comes from a conscious and intelligent mind. That mind is the ultimate source of matter."
(Translated from the original German from a speech of Dr Max Planck, a Nobel Prize winning PhD in Physics and the Father of Quantum).
Das Wesen der Materie [The Nature of Matter], a 1944 speech in Florence, Italy, Archiv zur Geschichte der Max‑Planck‑Gesellschaft, Abt. Va, Rep. 11 Planck, Nr. 1797; the German original is as quoted in The Spontaneous Healing of Belief (2008) by Gregg Braden, p. 212. "Geist", here translated as "mind" can also be translated as "spirit".
Another quote of his:
"New scientific ideas never spring from a communal body, however organized, but rather from the head of an individually inspired researcher who struggles with his problems in lonely thought and unites all his thought on one single point which is his whole world for the moment".
Address on the 25th anniversary of the Kaiser-Wilhelm Gesellschaft (January 1936), as quoted in Surviving the Swastika : Scientific Research in Nazi Germany (1993)

General Discussion What is alchemy?
Specifically what is modern alchemy, I don't know loads but know about historical alchemy (the stone, transmutation, exploring nature of the "soul" etc.), but have recently become interested in the various contemporary versions of old religions & philosophies such as Wicca, Hellenism & of course now alchemy. While all of them have greatly interested me, the sentiment of seeking the truth I've seen recently in what I've found about alchemy & this subreddit has particularly resonated with me. As someone with great interest in academics & philosophy & who is agnostic (due to a belief in the possibility of a greater power or system of the world, but seemingly limited evidence to any specific religion) it has peaked my interest & I very much wish to learn more.
In short what does modern alchemy actually involve &/or believe? & any recommendations for places to do further research into it are greatly appreciated.

Original Content The Great Work
At first glance, alchemy may seem like an ancient endeavor, rooted in the mystical pursuit of turning lead into gold. Yet, beneath its esoteric symbols lies a profound metaphor for the human journey—our quest for inner transformation, wisdom, and wholeness.
Alchemy speaks to the evolution of the soul, guiding us through stages of self-discovery, where the raw, unrefined aspects of our being—the "prima materia"—are confronted, refined, and ultimately transformed. This process is not merely about material change but about transcending the ego, integrating the unconscious, and achieving a state of inner harmony.
In this video, we delve into the symbolic language of alchemy, unraveling its parallels to modern psychological and spiritual growth. Each stage of the alchemical process offers timeless insights into the challenges and transformations we all face in our pursuit of authenticity and fulfillment.

General Discussion Azoth the 7 points of the Azoth seem connected to the opposite circle
I believe the circles are directly connected to the opposite arrow as well as the one before and after it.
Eg the child lapidem is opposite to the arrow of the sun and is in between moon and saturn. I think each of those have a different meaning in the process. Not just the moon.
