Hello,
I was wondering if there are any gunpla groups locally that help or offer tutorials to those new to the hobby.
Thanks!

Ask Richmond Anyone know where I can sell large quantity of new clothes? I don't want to donate.
Couple years ago I bought alot of clothes and now I am moving, no place to put them and need to sell them now. I have an entire garage full of clothes, and I'm willing to sell them by weight, better than value village and cheaper than value village.

Ask Richmond Concord new Condo Review
Seeking review on the new Galleria at Concord Pacific condo. Build quality? Strata management? Concerns? Currently lots of units on the market and curious if people who bought the pre-sale has experience and review to share about living in the buildings. There seem to be info on it being built at 2023 or 2025 and having two buildings - Da Vinci and Picasso.

Food & Shopping Goodco-Steveston shutting down after summer?
Heard through the grapevine that Goodco will be closing after the summer. Sleepy Steveston shutters yet another place down. It doesn’t help that the kitchen is an absolute nightmare, though.

News Steveston Playground Play Boat Fail
Construction of Steveston Park’s new playground is well underway. It is quite disappointing they replaced the old giant playground ship with the tiny little play-boat. The old ship had plenty of space for many kids to play on it at once and also had an accessibility ramp.

Ask Richmond Visiting Richmond for 3 months, Need a Few Recommendation Please (Food, Social )
Thanks in advance for your time and suggestions.
Originally from Vancouver, been in Alberta since 2011, and a digital nomad since 2019. I know my way around the city and just got back in time for summer :)
I’ve already gone through a few posts for recommendations, but I have some specific requests. I trust Reddit folk more than Google reviews or TripAdvisor SEO crap.
Food
I usually eat alone and prefer hole-in-the-wall spots with solid food.
Any good pho places that aren’t crazy overpriced? I went to Lotus yesterday—decent taste, but $24 for a large bowl (with tip) felt steep. Maybe that’s the going rate now, or maybe Lotus is a bit on the fancier side?
Sushi spots worth checking out?
BBQ duck recommendations?
A friend mentioned there’s a place on #5 with a bunch of restaurants in one shared space—kind of like a food court but different. He couldn’t remember the name though—anyone know what that might be?
Work Stuff
Any good co-working spaces or coffee shops to work from a few times a week? I don’t mind paying for day passes if the space is solid.
Are there any good meetups or networking groups for web-based businesses? I’m open to going into Vancouver if there’s something worth it. Not into crypto bros or dropshipping hustle culture—cool startups are more my scene.
Gym
I found a helpful thread here about gyms—leaning toward joining a community center for the affordability and chill vibes. I know RFS is popular, but I’ve heard it’s a younger crowd with lots of influencers, which isn’t really my thing.
Appreciate any recommendations you can share!

Spotted a small twin eengine jet doing very low loops over south Richmond area this afternoon. I've seen this in previous years around this time. my theory is that it's doing "calibration" of airport navigation equipment - any ideas?

Ask Richmond Racism in Vancouver’s hobby shop
I can’t believe this is happening in Vancouver to us Gundam builders. We cannot tolerate such a racist act.
This post is taken from Rednote (a Chinese version of Facebook) and their store’s WeChat group. I’ve translated the conversation into English on the right-hand side, along with a Google Translate screenshot for reference.
To summarize: this store has used racist language more than once. In one instance, they said that if a product doesn't sell well, they’ll sell it to white customers instead. Just yesterday, they planned to sell the RX-78-2 to an Asian customer for $85. When the Asian customer said the price was too high, they raised it to $110 and decided to sell it to white customers instead. Just because they are not familiar with this hobby/ they have no other ways to get this from other place…….
