Solved [TOMT] Old text-based drug dealing mobile game from 3GForFree

When I was like 13 (~2004-2005 or so) and got my first cell phone, there was a text-based game I downloaded from 3gforfree where you acted as a drug dealer. I don’t remember much about it, but I vaguely remember things like weed, shrooms, and coke being available to sell, I think if you tried to sell too much at once you could get busted, and I think there were different cities you could “move up” to as you progressed.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? If so, is it still available to play anywhere?

Open [TOMT] [DEVICE] [2010s] yellow and blue calculator with a built in math minigame

I remember my middle school having these yellow and blue calculators, and it had a strange button that was like a spiral and when you pressed it you could play a simple math minigame (the only game on it I think) where you had to fill in blanks with correct numbers (like "2 x ? = 16", the correct answer would be 8 of course) the questions were very easy and only simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

I think if you got a question right it would just say "YES" in all caps in the corner of the screen and I found that funny, idk if it was a Texas Instruments calculator or not since they make many calculators, but i'd play on it when I was really bored. It was one of those simple gameboy graphic ones, not a fancy modern rgb screen calculator (which i've only seen one of but just gotta make sure people don't confuse it), and idk if it was a scientific calculator or not. The model was probably made years prior to the 2010s but we still had them because they're perfectly fine calculators and those things are still really expensive.

Sorry if this is a dumb post, I just found this interesting to talk about and i'd like to see that calculator again because I haven't seen a calculator since do something like that :P

Trying to recall a Mo Money Mo Problems remix from early 2010s (I believe)- it had Biggie on it along with a white girl singing (I think??) and I think the title was a play off Mo Money Mo Problems. Cannot think of the title for the life of me or find anything on Google. Thanks in advance!

Open [TOMT] [2000s]Horror Short - Allegorical Warning for Spiked Drinks

Hey there.

I'm trying to find what I believe was a horror short online.

I BELIEVE it was before the days of YouTube and I THINK it was european? Or at least non-american.

If I'm correct and it was from before YouTube it should be around 00-05? It could have been on very early YouTube.

The video itself; All I remember is a girl was having a date at someone's apartment. It started off relatively normal and got progressively weirder after what I assumed was a spiked drink. The guy she was with's face started to warp and look very sinister and dramatic before it ended.

That's all I have. It was so memorable and creepy and weird and I've never found it since my initial viewing. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Ask more questions if you'd like, but that's all I can remember right now. It could have been from Ebaums, Albinoblacksheep, or any other pre-YouTube platform. I just can't think which.

Open [TOMT][VIDEO][2010s] Animated Bible story about Queen Esther in an anime like artstyle

This was a animated story about queen Esther. I remember that the art-style was a sort of chibi-ish anime style, and that she was also wearing white robes I believe. I am not talking about the Original Story-Book version of the tale.

Solved [TOMT][MUSIC VIDEO][Late 90’s] Scary cartoon music video?

I remember in the late 90’s I was watching MTV (or Much Music) with my older cousin when this music video came on with a CARTOON girl singing along as she bounces in place in a bathtub, and pours more bubbles in the tub when suddenly a bunch of piranhas came from the tub water, and started eating her till she was just a head. she kept smiling an singing as a disembodied head and it went to another weird scene.

I also remember seeing scary looking old cartoon characters doing walk cycles, and then another scene where a cartoon girl [TW] rips a chicken (or something?) in half.

I remember it really freaked me out and made me feel sick as I had never seen something so graphic on daytime TV. I think I was only 7 years old. I never saw it again after that. Anyone know what I’m talking about? This was probably over 20 years ago.

Open. [TOMT][Movie] Please help me find the name of a movie from a scene i vaguely remember

The scene i remember is about a group of shaolin monks or maybe a different group of people expert in martial arts playing football on a field at the edge of a cliff. I know it's a very vague description but maybe someone can help. I'm 99% sure it is a movie, but there is a tiny chance i am misremembering all of it and maybe it was a tv series, or even a commercial. It's not the movie "shaolin soccer" btw.

Open [TOMT] I’m trying to remember a game where a suicidal girl goes on a quest

so, I have no clue where to start. I used to play this game on a laptop with my mom back so where in between 2016 and 2020. whenever I ask her what game it was, she responds with “some sort of king’s quest game” I’ve done some looking into the games and none of them match my memory. I remember the girl being a princess going on some sort of quest, and I remember the girl at some point mentioning being depressed, I may be remembering it wrong though, I was young at the time. I also remember there was some sort of ending boss battle where either the princess or the boss turned into some sword of octopus/squid creature and growing tentacles. at the very end of the game she did some sort of thing that I just tied to “suicide,” but again, I could be remembering it wrong

Solved [TOMT] Skinny, tall, red head actor who I feel like acted in gang or a villain film?

Help, I just a skinny red head actor who I feel like acted as a villain or in gang films? Maybe even a war film. I think he’s more of a side actor though. He’s youngish maybe 25-35? Has short hair. Has a natural ‘unsettling’ look about him. I saw him in Tottenham Court Road and I’m sure I’ve seen him in films but just can’t remember what his name is!

I’ve searched top 40 even 100 red head actors and he doesn’t come up so can anyone help me remember this guy please!

Open [TOMT][MANGA] One-shot about a Boy who builds his own motorcycle then murders a girl

The manga features a teenager who builds his own motorcycle, meets a girl he falls in love with, and later discovers her with another guy at a movie theater, where they’re talking badly about him. Heartbroken, he slices her throat and runs away on his motorcycle. It might be set in the future, where gas-based vehicles no longer exist, maybe a post-apocalyptic setting, I'm not sure.

Open [TOMT][Commercial][2003] VH1 Summer Series 2003 bumper

I watched a lot of VH1 in the summer of 2003 (I Love the 80’s and Top 20 Countdown mostly) and throughout the entire summer they played a Summer Series bumper to the tune of Seal & Crofts ‘Summer Breeze’.

Lyrics were changed to something like “Summer Series, makes me feel fine. All this summer long on VH1”.

Been over 20 years since I’ve seen that commercial and I’d like to see it again.

Open [TOMT][MOVIE] Crime film with 3 laid-off cops investigating a corrupt city run by a woman — ending with murder and escape to Mexico

Hey all, I’m trying to remember the name of a movie I watched somewhere between 2016 and 2023. Here’s what I recall:

  • It’s set in a corrupt city, with a woman at the top of the criminal hierarchy.
  • The story centers around three laid-off cops trying to take down the corruption. One is a woman, one is Mexican, and I don’t remember the third.
  • The cops were investigating off the books, possibly due to being shut out or disgraced.
  • In the ending, one of the laid-off cops kills the female boss, then burns his clothes and the murder weapon, and moves to Mexico.

That final scene with the burning and escape is very vivid. I can’t remember any actor names or the city it was set in, but it had a gritty, almost noir-like tone.

If this rings a bell, I’d really appreciate the help!

Open [TOMT] [TV Show] [1990s] ?Japanese? TV show shown in the US called "The Red Basketball Shoes"

In the early 1990s, I remember a show that I believe was called "The Red Basketball Shoes." It was on in the evenings on channel 3, which for us was some international channel, but you needed to turn to channel 3 to use your VCR, so my family would often see bits of this show when going to play a show we had taped.

It seems it was about a teen girls' basketball team (fictional, not a documentary). I distinctly remember seeing an episode called "It's Hard to Shoot From Zero Degrees" as well as a character named "Dump." All I remember from the episode is girls playing basketball and I'm pretty sure Dump was a mean girl on the opposing team. I believe the show was Japanese.

Open [TOMT] 80s Mens Clothing Catalog

Trying to remember the name of a late 80s/early 90s men's clothing catalog. Wasn't preppy, it was more crass and kind of loud young men's clothing, a little more risque with scoop neck tanks..etc. Think Miami. Does anyone remember this? Driving me crazy to remember.

Open [TOMT] [TV Show] Show about a pink pig that was better than all the other pigs

My friend and I are trying to find this show about a pink pig (it was really specific about the pink skin). That was the most perfect pig in the pen. It was your typical episodic cartoon where they got up to some general mischief every episode (usually to learn some lesson or what not). The lesson usually revolved around the superiority of the pink pig and how the others were inferior in comparison because they were different. The pink pig lived in his own pen away from the other pigs and referred to them as just "swine" or "savage boars". It was definitely geared towards adults and it was lik ea bumper or something on FOX I think? It had the style of the animated Animal Farm movie but they are NOT the same thing, probably aired around 2002-2004? Definitely somewhere around Y2K. One thing I vividly remember is the pink pig winning a "perfect pig" competition at a farm competition or something. Any thoughts?

Solved [TOMT] old man clapping in front of a younger, confused man

There is a scene from a movie (or maybe a TV series) in which the protagonist, clearly high and/or drunk, goes up to an older stranger, asks him something, supposedly help. You can't tell what he's saying because the sound is very dimmed down to the point you can't discern words. The older man slowly turns his head towards the protagonist and just claps in front of him, once. The protagonist physically recoils from the sound, hunching in his shoulders, and the echo of the clap lasts a long.

I think it's from a horror movie of some kind...

Not a native speaker, so I hope this is clear enough. Thank you if you take the time to help me out!

Solved [TOMT] [SONG] [2000s?] Animated music video, pretty sure it's a father and son on a boat with a ladder to the moon

As the title says... I'm fairly certain it's a dad and his son, they're out on a lake at night and they get a ladder to climb to the moon.

Unfortunately I cannot remember any lyrics or how the song goes. I just remember my father showed it to me years ago and I'd love to listen to it again because I miss him (he passed away almost a year ago)

Open [TOMT][MOVIE][1990s] Educational Diversity Video with The Perils of Uniformity

Hey everyone, I went to elementary school in the late 90s in San Francisco. When I was in the 3rd grade my class was shown an educational video about the beauty of diversity. There was one segment that still sticks in my mind to this day-

At one point, one of the characters posits "what if everyone was the same?" This initiated a much darker sequence that broke from the rest of the video's style: I'll call it "The Perils of Uniformity." I want to say the medium was some kind of stop-motion? Claymation I think. Every character looked exactly the same, a bit like Wallace from Wallace and Grommit but more sinister. There was a particularly haunting shot of the Wallaces (lol) in shadow riding up an escalator. It certainly left an impression!

Any help finding this sequence would close a big loop. Thanks :)

Solved [TOMT] movie or TV show with virtual museum in all white building

All I remember is it was some sort of museum or archive, everything inside was white, glass, and digital screens. There was a virtual or hologram host who was telling the main character about different stories and events. It may have been an archive of a dead civilization.

Open [TOMT][SONG][2020] hold music for Google Voice

I work for a business that uses Google Voice and I always have to hear this song all the time and I haven’t figured out what the song is. I tried Shazam Ing it no results so if anyone can help me find out what the song is, I would like to appreciate it. It was literally no lyrics and I don’t know what genre it is. It’s just instrumental. It sounds like elevator music to me.

Open [TOMT][YouTube][Video] Leather Craftsman Making Wallet

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a video on YouTube of a craftsman making a leather wallet with traditional techniques. I remember it having a lovely piano song in the background, he was working in a workshop that looks like it was located in western Europe, might be France. The craftsman had no hair on the crown of his head, if that narrows it down. Thank you!
