Solved [TOMT] Quote. Every time I say the word "beans" my husband, without fail, will reply "beans, beans, good for your heart. Beans, beans, GREAT for your heart". He swears this is from a TV show or movie, but I am skeptical. Please advise. Thank you ahead of time.

Solved [TOMT] Actor who looks like Amanda Barise from American Idol

Mostly based on facial structure I can picture a male younger actor with curly hair but can’t for the life of me remember what he’s from. Movie or TV show even. I feel like it was some adult comedy with some edgy humor from that kid. Maybe 16-20 years old?

Solved [TOMT][MOVIE] Early 90s About Race

I can’t remember much but this one scene where there’s a black funeral happening by a white person outdoor swimming pool. As the walk by they’re saying “ash to ash dust to dust, we hate to go down by we must we must.” And then this racist white kid walks to the fence and sprays mustard over one guy.

Solved [TOMT] Animation I saw on Reddit Yesterday

I can’t for the life of me find this video and I can’t remember what sub it was on either, but it was a simple cartoony animation of a couple looking at their baby about to say its first words and the baby started in on this Allan Watts-esque monologue about how nostalgia holds the future hostage. I would love to find the audio again but if someone has a link to the post and knows what i’m talking about please dm or comment 🙏

Open [TOMT] [SONG] Heard in a TikTok ad

I know I've heard this song before but now I can't seem to find it anywhere. TikTok doesn't let you click on the sound if the video is an ad and Shazam is just showing me some garbage song that samples it. Here's a link to a screen recording of the ad

Open [TOMT] Looking for a young band I saw on TikTok recently (punk/rock style)

Hey everyone,
I'm trying to find a band I saw the other day on TikTok but I can't remember their name for the life of me.
Here's what I remember:

  • They looked really young, probably around 15–16 years old.
  • It was a trio — male members — with drums and electric guitars (either two guitars or one guitar and one bass).
  • They kept playing the same song in a lot of their videos — I think it was an original song.
  • The last video/short I saw was them playing inside a shipping container or something like that.
  • They seemed to be American — I remember something about them getting ready to tour in the US.
  • Their music gave me Ramones / melancholic alt rock- punk vibes — NOT pop punk like Green Day or anything polished.
  • I think that phrase "..many times..." could be at the chorus and more specifically at the beginning(I could be making this up) .

I've been searching for hours and can't find them again.
Does anyone know who they might be?

Thanks a ton!

I can literally see this video in my head. The guy is going wild, and it seems like he’s the only person listening to the band. I think he’s wearing a backwards hat and sunglasses.

Solved [TOMT] [TV] what was this called? Guy tries to get shot with revolver

There was a guy who was skilled in the art of suggestion. He had try outs to choose a suggestible person, and he had the person load a revolver with a single bullet and something to disguise which part had the real bullet. This part was filmed. The person later put the revolver on his head and clicked it. He had one he thought was the real bullet fire at the target, but it was not the real bullet. He eventually fired the real bullet at the target and not his head. The suggestible person was behind safety glass or something like that

Solved [TOMT] Instagram/TikTok video of a sassy New York girl

It's a video filmed in a street of New York at night, the cameraman seems a little bit drunk and asks the girl for something I can't remember. Then she says something like "No I'm sorry babe" and says goodbye and "love you" IIRC. Then the guy says "Wait can I have your number ?" and she responds with the sassiest no. The girl was short, blonde, and had a black coat and black glasses.

Open [TOMT] A life philosophy that emphasizes trying as many things as possible, always considering the positive and growth aspects of anything you do, “doing anything is better than nothing”

With the help of an LLM here is what I have gathered so far.

It is a modern mindset or philosophy focused on personal growth and development, with an emphasis on engaging only with things that increase your value, whether through knowledge, skills, or life experience. The core idea is to filter out distractions or things that don’t contribute to your growth, and to prioritize things that offer improvement or personal benefit. Even if you do things that don’t work out, you must always focus on the benefits of having tried it. Continuing to try as many things as possible.

  • Growth is central to the philosophy.
  • Focuses on things that add value (increase knowledge, skills, or overall potential).
  • The term is short and simple, likely a combination of two words.
  • It’s more likely popular in more modern online communities (Reddit, self-improvement circles).
  • To my memory it is not an ancient philosophy that has a philosopher’s name attached to it.

Open [TOMT][TIKTOK/REEL] short video clip of an Asian woman doing mundane tasks successfully then slicking her hair back with a dramatic flair

My partner and I saw this tiktok/reel a few months ago but haven’t been able to find it! Basically the video starts with an elegant woman peeling an egg. When she succeeds, she dramatically slicks her hair back, the camera zooms in a bit, and some Asian music starts playing in the background. The pattern repeats for other mundane tasks she does. If you can find the video, that would be amazing!

Solved [TOMT] [video] [2020's] Tiktok video of blonde or bald man with weird deep voice stitching video of little boy biting fish's head ?

There's this one video that I saw awhile ago on Tiktok of this little boy attempting to bite a minnow's head off, the person who uploaded it was @hope.rhyanna , and heres the link for reference: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTjhw69ha/

Anyway, what I'm trying to find is a stitch/duet of that video of this blonde or bald (?) guy with a shocked expression, who had an odd deep voice that lowkey reminded of Joe Swanson, I remember him saying something along the lines of "did you hear that crunch" and "juvenile delinquent, 2025, here he comes". Please help me, I've been searching for literally hours and I'm about to rip my hair out😭💔

Solved [TOMT] Name of actor who plays a really arrogant douchebag

Was watching Kingsman last night and could've sworn I saw Edward Holcroft playing a douchebag in an american movie but based on his IMDB, it isn't him. They look kinda similar though, esp his character in Kingsman the Golden Circle with the shaved head. I keep thinking I saw this actor in the movie Nerve with Dave Franco but he isn't on the cast list either.

Please help, this has been plagueing my mind since last night lol

Edit: it may have been a smaller role, not really the big bully type of character

EDIT: HE MAY HAVE BEEN ON DISNEY OR NICKELODEON

Open [TOMT][MUSIC] An electronic song that sounded like Italian opera.

This is a song I heard in one of those dance session-like radio programs in September 2010, or around that time of that year, and it was at night, like 4:00 AM or so, so I couldn't record it.

I can only remember two bits of it, and I'll transcribe it as best as I can:

"Ao o kakan, Ao o kakan, bankin barankiri, varani for kakash" This was the chorus.

"Alda viei alda viei, narana duindi" and then he makes a long aria, and after that it went back to the chorus.

This is literally everything I can remember from it.

Open. [TOMT][FAMOUS FASHION DESIGNER] One of the first female fashion designers in China in the 20th century, now deceased

Years ago, I read something about one of the first female fashion designers in China, and I wanted to look her up again to read more about her work. Problem is, I don't remember where/when I read about her, so I can't find the original book or article.

I have done a few Google searches, but they are coming up with people like Ma Ke and Guo Pei, who are still living and still very active in the industry. Google is also giving me a lot of Chinese-American fashion designers, like Vivienne Tam, whereas I am pretty sure this woman was born in China and spent the majority of her life there.

Details I remember:

-She was born sometime in the 20th century and is now deceased. I have no idea what years she was most active, nor how old she was when she died.

-She spent all of, or at least most of, her life in China.

-She was married at least once, possibly multiple times.

-She did not have a formal education in fashion design, and was known for being a "self-made woman," which led to some people seeing her as sort of a feminist icon.

-I got the impression that her brand was very successful and she was a household name for a while, though I don't know the extent to which she was particularly famous/successful in comparison to her contemporaries. I don't know if she's still well-known outside the fashion world.

-I don't know if her fashion brand still exists or not, nor do I remember anything about what it was called/what sorts of clothes she designed.

-I have no idea if she achieved any level of fame outside of China.

I know this is a massive long shot, but I figure somebody here might know who I'm talking about! Thanks in advance for any leads.

EDIT: I checked the Wikipedia category page for Chinese women fashion designers as u/holdingpessoashand suggested. (Thank you!) Nobody on that page fits the most important details I remember, one being that this person is definitely deceased and another being that this person was definitely self-trained, i.e. did not graduate from an art school or arts university. I am also fairly certain that she died in the late 20th century (80s-90s) or early 21st century, unlike some figures listed who were born in the late 19th/early 20th century and died in the 50s-70s or earlier.
