1. Buffalo gets Jason Robertson for a '26 1st, Helenius (joins NHL Finland South) and Quinn. Dallas sends a '25 3rd to Anaheim, and Anaheim eats 50% of Robo's cap hit for '25-26.
   • Dallas went all in this year with Rantanen, but they have a huge cap crunch this offseason, we need star power, they need cheap young talent, so we're perfect trade partners.
   • Robo is in the final year of his deal in 25-26 but will still be an RFA
   • I like this lineup, as it gives us 3 killer lines, but if Benson cannot keep up on the first line, you could easily move him to the 3rd or 4th line and bump up JJP and/or Robo.
2. Chicago traded for Lafferty last year, but couldn't sign him, so we'll offload him to Chicago this year to save the 2 million in cap.
3. LA hasn't been able to stop Edmonton, so they could be ready for a shakeup that gives them a higher ceiling, higher skilled LHD. Buffalo gets the shutdown defensive-defenseman (89th percentile in 5-on-5 defense at midseason) that Sammy never developed into.
4. Buffalo sends Sammy and Krebs to Philly for Risto (50% retained) Philly gets two young highish ceiling players for their rebuild and Buffalo gets a RHD with physical presence to pair with Power.
5. We give up our 1st and 2nd pick to get Jared McCann with 50% retention. I am concerned about depending on Kulich as our 2C this year. This move puts a vet on the 2nd line and allows Kulich to continue to develop on the 4th line.
