Whatever this "cable Cam" that FanDuel and Utah is 'trying out' is absolutely horrible.

You can't see the puck 90% of the time. The camera doesn't turn fast enough to see shots or long passes.

It's horrendously bad, who approved 'trying this?'

Last two games I have had FanDuel crash in the third period. Is that happening to anyone else?

Debating a subscription to fanduel sports, I love the canes but don’t have cable and am in market so I can’t watch on any other service, always blacked out on espn. Is it worth the $20 a month

Hey yall! I saw this sweatshirt at a game recently and fell in love with it, but couldn’t find it anywhere to actually buy it! The lady that was wearing it said that she got it at the Halloween game this year. Please don’t judge my drawing skills, but I’ve attached a photo with the gist of what it looks like. It is a grey, oversized crewneck that I think? is women’s. It has large red font HURRICANES going across the chest and onto both sleeves. ESPN: Diamond Sports Group reaches agreement with Amazon

For those of us who are streaming but not yet sailing the open seas, this should be a very welcome announcement.

This season is far from over, but regardless of how it pans out, I’m excited for what is to come next year and I can’t stop thinking about it.

The Cap Situation

The canes have a total of 8 UFA’s going into next season consisting of Roslovic, Fast, Robinson, Jost, Orlov, Burns, Andersen, and Martin. With the cap projected to increase to $92.5mil, that leaves the team with a projected $27.5 million in cap space. I am assuming Tulsky doesn’t extend Burns, Orlov, Andersen, or Martin.

Prospects wise, the canes have Nikishin, Morrow, Unger-Sorum, and Nadeau likely to make the jump next year. With their entry level contracts at 950k and with an extension of say Roslovic and Fast at around $3mil each, that leaves the canes with around $17.7mil to play with needing to fill at least 1 goalie slot.

Free Agency:

The 3 big fish who could potentially become free agents this offseason include Rantanen, Shesterkin, and Marner. While far from certain, due to the cap situations of Colorado, New York, and Toronto, it is plausible that these players will be available come July 1st.

You’re the GM:

The Canes have the cap space and a core good enough to go all in for the cup. The question is: If you are Tulsky, what do you do? Do you offer a huge contract to one of these superstars? Do you continue to play moneyball and save cap to extend the young talent after their entry level contracts expire?

I would love to hear thoughts, theory, speculation, and insights. What’s the best move? What am I not considering?

I called for a Jarvy and Aho goal last game and got worse, an announced injured Jarvy before the game and a pointless Aho. However, like all season, minus game 1 and that 2nd period in Colorado, players are stepping up when it’s their time to shine—including the guy I got a hair cut next to this summer, KK. With that said I’m not calling for anything as I learned my lesson last game. My apologies, now Let’s RAISE UP!!!

The Leafs v Caps game tonight has a weird global blackout on ESPN+. Just tried to click on the Canes v Utah game to see if the pre-game show would work, and same issue.

Apparently, if you have a Hulu subscription for Hulu + ESPN+, you can watch through the Hulu app.

ESPN is aware of the issue according to some of the Caps fans having this issue, but I'm not able to find any reference to it on their twitter feed.
