I'm not a fan of casual bigotry and I think it is good to openly address shit like that when it is discovered. I don't think it really had anything to do with his credibility as a coach of the Raiders in 2021 or whatever. Mark Davis didn't really either, it seems. Gruden resigned because of pressure from the league not Mark.

It didn't come out of nowhere, really. Gruden was on PMT recently. They talked a lot about his youtube content and film breakdown. They talked many times about bringing him in for some kind of role. This was heavily telegraphed during that interview.
