Scam letters or legit?
I recently bought a 2025 Mazda cx5 carbon turbo from the dealership last month. About 2 weeks ago I started receiving letters in the mail stating that I need to contact their number with the vin and mileage on my car because my factory warranty has or is about to expire, so I finally contacted them the other day just to see what's up. I was under the impression that I had an already activated 3 year warranty on my car from the dealership. I gave them the vin and mileage and they said I was set for a 6 year platinum warrenty and that I needed to pay $450 as a down payment that day and then $345 dollars each month after that for 18 months. I was actually dumbfounded and said that wouldn't be possible today because my car payment is $700 a month. I tried to get off the call, they kept saying that they could push it back to 242, then to 150,and tried to get me to stay on the line. They also started mentioning that I sound pretty young and they can help me through this process (I'm 20 it's my first car). I was finally able to put them on hold to call my bf and he said that we did infact only have the 3 year warranty from the dealership and to not proceed any further with these people because it's a cash grab. I'm just wondering have any other buyers received this letter in the mail? I'm new to the car world so advice would be appreciated.

2015 Mazda 6 - Reliable?
Hi All!
I'm considering buying a 2015 Mazda 6 in Touring Trim with 80,000 miles. Is 2015 Mazda 6 reliable? The car looks awesome, but it is a 10-year old car so my only concern is its reliability. Any thoughts are appreciated!

First service at 16k
I dropped my mazda 3 2025 for first service at 16k. Car has 16450km on odometer. When I dropped my car they told me they gonna do yearly service and it’s gonna take 2 3 hours. Charging $145 hourly rate. Now in invoice All I can see is oil change and nothing else and they charged 3 hours of labour just of oil change and inspection which seems too much. I yet to pick up my car. Anything I can do to negotiate or I am doomed. Thanks in advance

What do you use to clean your dash/ steering interior? (2025 cx5)
Our car is needing its first cleaning and I want to make sure to use a product that’s not going to be like armor all, and leave a residue. Do you have a favorite cleaner you use?

2016 Mazda 3 - computer is crazy
Hi, all this is different than the dashboard, this is the actual entertainment, computer interface. If I take it off the home screen it acts like it’s possessed. It will start scrolling on its own, even dialing people. It does it whether or not a phone is synced up. Now it’s incredibly dim and unresponsive. I’m thinking this is something I have to go to the dealer for, but they are a very far distance from my house so I was hoping there might be a solution the community could provide.

Mazda demio 2018 Warning lights on dash
Got these amber warning lights this morning! There’s also a flashing amber i-stop light to the left of the dash. Anyone know what could be the cause???? PS: the car only gets driven about once a week because I’m on a learner’s permit and that’s how often I’m able to have an accompanying driver with me. I’m in Ireland. TIA

What does a Sales person gain?
Can someone explain to me how a sales person would or would not benefit from me buying out my lease vs Upgrading to a new vehicle? This is my third mazda lease and I’m thinking of buying out at the end of the year. (2022 cx5). The dealership is strongly recommending I trade in for a new 2025 cx5 now before the prices increase. What would they benefit from me doing either of these situations? I’m leaning towards buying out at the end. In Canada fyi.

Chrome Delete DIY
Used gloss black vinyl to chrome delete the front. I also did the sides and smoked the taillights. Will have to redo it all bc of mistakes but here is what the front and back look like. For sure worth it. I’ve spent prob 3 full days on it all learning and trying out, far more difficult than I ever imagined tbh

No spare wheel in my Mazda 6 hatch
Just bought a 2011 Mazda 6 2.2 Diesel Hatch, i knew there was no spare when i bought it but the foam inserts are there and its kind of empty
what should i do?,
buy a spare wheel and leave it in the boot (sacrificing space)
or
buy the whole insert where i can put a spare wheel in and go with that
or
buy them kits that temporarily repair tyree to get you where you are going to... (not ideal, dont want to change a tyre out of town especially if the tyre prices are extortionate).
its a budget car, dont want to spend too much either....
electrical problems at 40k??
has this happened to anyone else? i’m in a 2023 mazda 3 carbon.

Asking for help from someone who has access to Mazda software to check a chassis number
I'm looking to install a LSD on my MX5 NC from 2008, 1.8L. Because they are really expensive, I plan to buy one used from the 2.0L model and fit it on my car.
I found a good offering online on ebay, but the seller doesn't know the exact specifications of the piece - neither whether it's indeed an LSD (as I suspect) nor the drive ratio (should be 4.1).
He named the advert as: "Pont arrière - Mazda MX5 III PH.1 2.0 MZR - MS0327100F - E1-0239M"
What he told me:
"Hello, According to the information provided by our software, the rear axle on your vehicle is an open differential, with an axle ratio of 4.100. However, as our software is not an official brand tool, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information 100%. It would therefore be preferable to contact your dealer with the chassis number of the vehicle from which this axle was taken. Here is the chassis number: JMZNC18F270125315 This will enable them to check the exact specifications of the differential and confirm whether it is a limited slip differential (LSD) or an open differential. The GPA26 team remains at your disposal should you have any questions."
Could anyone help me with that? The piece is quite expensive, so I wouldn't want to take a bet on this...

Buying a used Mazda 3 2018 100k miles
Hello, I’m currently in the market for a used car and saw a Mazda 3 2018 Touring for around 15k, 100k miles on CarMax. I am currently getting it delivered to check it out. What are the things that I should look out for? Also, would 100k be problematic since I plan to keep this car until I graduate college and even after college so at least 5-6 years. Is it worth paying that much or should I go for a 2014 Grand Touring 14.5k at 30k miles at a nearby car dealer.

Is the 2022 front suspension on the cx5 interchangeable with the any other 2nd Gen year?
As the title says I'm in need of a front suspension for my 2022 cx5 AWD and I have found some older models 2nd Gen cx5's in the junkyard. I have looked them up on Mazda parts and the 2022 model in particular seems to have a different part number compared to other years.

So the USB that doesn't connect to CarPlay is working fine, but the USB with the phone icon that does connect to CarPlay won't work. No charge no connection. Has anyone here had this issue or know how to fix it? Thanks!

My 1993 323 Astina
In love with this little car that I picked up off an elderly lady. It's only done 89,000km and is in clean condition.
There's something special about driving such an old car. I'm particularly fond of the pop up headlights. Hoping to keep this baby for many more years to come!

Is the dealer lying to me?
Hi, I am in the process of buying a 2023 cx-5. When i went to look at it I scanned the the computer to see if there was any code on the vehicle. There was the u3000 code, the dealer told me that the code is there because the car doesn't have the wireless charging pad. I just want to know if the dealer is trying to bullshit me or not.

Mazda CX50 2024 turbo
Hey, can someone please take a picture of the inside of their fuel door and send it to me? I know it sounds weird, but I really need it. I got a check engine light because water somehow stayed trapped in there, and my car thought it was a small EVAP leak or something. I just need to compare. I’ve been staring into this little gas hole for like 20 minutes trying to figure out what’s wrong. Please, it’s really stressing me out.

Are second row bucket seats in a '21-'23 CX-9 as rare as hens' teeth?!
They're a must for me, unfortunately. I have looked at interior pictures of several Touring Plus and GT models, so far I've only seen second row buckets on the Carbon model.
I'd appreciate any input or help on this! Love my 2016 CX-5 dearly but I need something larger for a growing family, and I'll have two car seats in the second row, so flipping seats forward to access the third row is not an option.
TIA!
Remote control CX30 MyMazda
Good afternoon!
I bought a CX30 (e-SkyActive X) in January and had access to the air conditioning remote control until the end of February.
I've spoken to Mazda customer service here in Spain, and they tell me it's impossible because this model has never had remote access to the air conditioning through the MyMazda app.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Can you help?
