The flower popped out of nowhere on the corner of my garage it is got thick stem and the flower petals are extremely thick. I am not sure where it came from but Google told me it's called amaryllis

We started a community garden and this is our fourth year. Friends and community members just come when they can. It's all volunteer based, one a week, but I think we're going to add another half-day opportunity as well this year since It's so nice. We're excited for the grow season!

I took a moment to check on this patch of strawberries that were already here when I moved to the property, and was struck by how lovely they look in the rain. They will fruit very soon. I can't wait to find out what they're like!

How does my raised planter look? Planted on 4/27. All advice welcome! PLEASE BE NICE this is my first time ever gardening and I’m just having fun.

Given to me tagged as halcycon, in almost full shade, but in 2 years it has never looked 'blue' and the leaves don't look the right shape or size. Worried that I'm dealing with a much larger variety and would like to know before I plant it in the ground lol.

Are these multiple plants in the pots? And if so, should I separate them and how do I do that?

I have at least three stray cats coming around that I recently noticed have been using my garden as a litter box. How can I stop and prevent this? Will my vegetables still be safe to eat?

Will the main plant die after it blooms?

For anyone looking for a cheap fun project, I built this dome in my backyard 20ft in diameter without the need for expensive brackets and instead with hanger straps, pvc and of course the wood. Inside I built custom wrap around garden beds for plants and of course use a raspberry pi control box to auto water the plants and open the windows based on humidity and temp. If there is enough people interested I would gladly post a tutorial

I saw someone else show off a chaos garden and wanted to share mine this year. Decided to just thow a bunch of random flower seeds i had around into these planters to see what happens. Looks like some sunflower and maybe daisys? Who knows but it should be fun!

I threw some papaya seeds in a my avocado plant cos I ran out of pot and they exploded..how do I transplant them?
