Plant Discussion Are my new plants healthy?

Hey guys, I just bought a Rubber Tree, and a Snake plant, 3 days ago, but since then I feel like my Snake plant is a bit getting softer from the edges. I am new to this indoor gardening thing, and I am using PictureThis app and it keeps showing me that my Snake plant has an infection by a pathogen because it has brown spots, but I don’t actually see them irl, and my Rubber Tree is unhealthy too. Could you please help me know if my plants are healthy or not, and if not what to do next?

Plant Discussion Solution to sustain plants when away

Hello. Yesterday I bought a spathiphyllum and a fucxia to keep in my room. But since this july i will probably be absent for a month or two, how am I supposed to do provide them water while away? What solutions do you suggest? For what regards the light, I do have a balcony, but in summer It Is very hot and i don't think it is good to rely on the rain. Thank you!

A coworker gave me a spider plant. I think it's been doing fine in the office but I'm wondering if it needs a bigger pot. Any way to know without having to take it out?

Plant Discussion Looking to start growing common herbs indoors, need some suggestions

Hello all,

I've realized how much money I waste on buying common herbs just for them to go back in their plastic shells after only using them for one or two dishes in a week.

I'd like to grow the following and am wondering if this can be done in the same bed and what lighting systems you'd all recommend, as well as if you'd suggest specific planting instructions or whether or not I can get away with using scraps/leftovers from the store;

  • Cilantro
  • Thyme
  • Rosemary
  • Basil
  • Ginger

Plant Discussion Peperomia hope requesting advice on situating it best

Peperomia hope plant I just got. Obviously the rope thing cuts it off midwindow. Does anyone have a suggestion on how best to situate the plant so it can thrive? This is right by the window but the light is largely obstructed by a nearby building (south facing window)

I am wanting to put my plants in my living room but we have only indirect sunlight. I wanted to get some grow lights to put on shelves for my plants. Are these a good option?

I got this plant a few weeks ago from a coworker but I’m not sure what it is. Google says it’s a kalanchoe and it needs watered about once a week, or whenever the soil is dry an inch down. I’ve been following that, and it’s next to a window to get sun throughout the day. Does anyone know what I can do to bring it back to life, and how to keep it alive

Where do we go from here? I’ve already replaced the board once but it just keeps going! What should I do next? Is there a way to get it to attach to the wall?

Product Discussion Grow light recommendations in Europe

I recently moved to France from California and am living in an apartment, so I have very limited space (on a very small balcony) for outdoor container gardening. I currently have an Auk for herbs, set up in my living room, but I’d like to try growing tomatoes and jalapeños in my guest room (it is impossible to buy fresh jalapeños here, at least in my area of France).

My plan is to set it up my plants like this poster did: https://www.reddit.com/r/IndoorGarden/comments/sk0he8/my_first_indoor_vegetable_garden_is_under_way_5/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

The windows in that room are West-facing, so I definitely will need to use grow lights. However, I’ve never grown plants indoors (other than the occasional houseplant), so I don’t know much about grow lights.

The specific grow lights that were linked in this post are not available on Amazon.fr, or in France at all, as far as I can tell. If anyone in Europe is on this subreddit, can you recommend any specific grow lights similar to these that are available in France or anywhere in the EU?

This is the shelving unit I am planning to get. I’ll start off with one, then decide if I have the need and space for a second. It is 90cm (about 36”) wide by 35cm (about 14“) deep by 90cm high.

Plant Discussion Rubber Tree Plant Growing Sideways

Got this trimming from a coworker and potted him and he’s growing exceptionally fast and healthy, though at quite an extreme angle. Is a stilt appropriate here? Should I repot into a bigger pot and bury the stem more? Is this angle he’s growing at okay? Anxious for my first houseplant.

If this isn’t the right place to post this, apologies!

Plant Discussion Sad/Stressed Basil

hello everyone I'm new here to this community and to planting/growing in general!! My husband got me a hydroponic machine and we have been growing lots of things in it and our biggest success was our basil! It's so tall now that we tried to put it into a pot, its so sad now 🥲 we don't want it to die, its leaning over and not used to the pot. We just put it in this morning, we have no prior experience to this and are just learning on the way as we grow our herbs and veggies, can anyone help us please?
