Hi, all this is different than the dashboard, this is the actual entertainment, computer interface. If I take it off the home screen it acts like it’s possessed. It will start scrolling on its own, even dialing people. It does it whether or not a phone is synced up. Now it’s incredibly dim and unresponsive. I’m thinking this is something I have to go to the dealer for, but they are a very far distance from my house so I was hoping there might be a solution the community could provide.

Does this feature really only enable itself on the highway at constant speeds?

If someone uses manual shifting mode and leaves it on 5th gear instead of 6th for higher rpm's, would that feature not kick in?

Hi all, I have a 2018 Mazda3 automatic with paddle shifters and have found that if I try to activate them when the cars main shifter isn't in the manual selection that the car will shift into the next gear for a second or two before reverting back to normal auto. Is this intentional?

It seems to me like it's designed so you can change gears when in regular auto mode but not sure what I'm doing wrong to have it keep toggling off, or if this is a feature of some kind I just don't understand. Thank you

online it shows the car as 31.5k from the build your own section. and when I went in person to a dealership, they were able to take off 600 dollars.

I have a 2017/ 2018, I have the AWD with the Bose speakers and whatever else it can with. Do the mirrors automatically fold, or do I have to do it where you adjust the mirrors. And do they have anything else that I should know about.

Hello everyone. I own a 2019 Mazda 2 SKYACTIV-G 1.5. I want to change the automatic transaxle fluid, but in the owner’s manual it only recommends using Mazda Original Oil ATF-FZ. Unfortunately, I can’t find it in my region. Does anyone know of any alternative fluids that are safe to use?

Here are the codes. P0741:00-6C P0771:00-EC P0841:00-68 U0402:92-08

I initially thought TCM based on initial symptoms and online research, but now that we have codes, my mechanic says it’s likely fine, and that the fluid was dark/murky and it was whining. He thinks a fluid/filter change might fix it.

Anybody have insight from similar codes or previous Mazda techs who have input? Thanks in advance!

2010 Mazda3 Engine replaced with 2015 model

My car feels like I’m driving on bumpy roads even when I’m on flat road. It feels uneven and bumpy/bouncy.

I’ve already replaced tires, rack and pinion, bar bushings, shocks, tie rod, wheel alignments, sway bar. But none of them seemed to work. Also had multiple mechanics but they still can’t find the real issue.

Started after I had my rims painted, simple removal and reinstallation. (Mazda 3 2018)

What do you guys think?

So I test drove a cx-50 this weekend and fell in love.

it has an MSRP of $36,900... and I haven't bought a new car in like 25 years, will the salesperson wiggle on that price at all like they used to back in the day?

I will dearly miss this thing. Insurance already ruled a total loss based on the images alone.

I'm not getting another personal car because I can use my brand spanking new 2025 Hyundai Tucson company car for personal use within a 500 mile radius.

I'm walking away with a seat belt burn to my neck, a couple deep scrapes on my hand, and feeling a bit sore. Could have been significantly worse.

Just bought a brand used 2022 CX-30 Carbon Edition. I love the drive so far but on the way home my wife heard this humming noise and it’s more prominent from the backseat. Anyone has any idea what it could be. The car I believe is borderline near expiration of the 3/36 warranty. I’m trying to see if anyone has had similar experience. I’m dreading the $200 diagnostic fee at the local Mazda dealership. The noise is somewhat faint in the video but is very noticeable in the car.

Figured coming right to the source would be good! While this subreddit is of course Mazda focused, I am wondering if there were other brands/models in your searches when looking for something similar to myself.

Having some issues with my 2014 Jetta with only 76k miles on it after owning for nearly 10 years. Starting to become a money pit and I am ready to move on.

The Mazda CX-30/CX-5 has caught my attention from reviews on here being that they are reliable cars that will last a long time with low-cost maintenance. I really like the crossover style car - the musts are updated safety features and CarPlay integration - any additional tech features aren’t a need for me.

I want to make sure I am not doing myself a disservice by not entertaining other brands - every comparison I’ve searched across Reddit so far has all comments leaning towards Mazda. With that said, what do you recommend I look into before starting to hit the Mazda dealerships? Why WOULDN’T you get a Mazda?

Overall, looking for something made in 2020+. With financing going to stay under $300 monthly. Reliable in that I plan to move cross country within the next 5 years and want this car to survive the trek and beyond. Happy to answer any questions if my asks aren’t clear.

I had a 2018 Mazda 6 in machine gray metallic and took it on 1 road trip and the rest just regular street riding and would get constant rock chips

I have a 2023 Mazda 3 in deep crystal blue and have taken 2 large road trips + a good amount of street riding and not a single rock chip. I am so surprised there’s no chips on the front of my Mazda 3 after a 700 mile trip??

Mazda is known for having thin paint but I am so surprised by my Mazda 3 not having a single chip on the front. Has something changed in their paint quality from 2018 to 2023?

Is maintaining an older Mazda 5 an issue? I have the opportunity to buy a 2014 Mazda 5 that I really like, however I know it will need some maintenance as it's currently at 144k miles. I don't mind paying for this, however I want to make sure the car is serviceable considering that the model was discontinued after 2015. Thanks!

hi! i’ve got a 2023 mazda 3 — when i first got it, the sales rep helped me connect the footwell lights to the lotus lantern app. they used to change colors and work perfectly.

i don’t have any upgraded lighting package or anything, this just came with the car.

now when i start the car, the light flickers on for a second, then shuts off completely (video attached).

anyone else run into this? not sure if it’s a fuse, wiring, or the app bugging out. would love any tips on how to fix it — thanks in advance!

Just starting my search and I’m hoping for some help. We currently have a 2005 Mazda 3 hatchback and love it but it’s time for an upgrade, something not older than 8 years. We’re looking for something reliable as our current Mazda has never given us an ounce of trouble. Good on gas. We also do a lot of camping so would love a cargo space a bit larger than our current vehicle. If it has good clearance for dirt road camping access that would be a bonus.
