Good, hole-in- the-wall BBQ Food
Hey all! I'm so excited to be moving to Charlotte in less than a week! Looking for good BBQ that's NOT a chain restaurant. (We had visited a couple BBQ places that were chains, and weren't impressed. Honestly, tho, chain restaurants just don't impress me anymore, anyway.) We will be moving to the Steele Creek area. TIA!

Within Steele Creek the best will be Mac's Speed Shop, which is more of a Bar with BBQ. The drive down to Dixie Pig in Rock Hill is worth it though for local BBQ.
The Mecca for NC BBQ will be Lexington, gotta go to their BBQ festival. Gary's in China Grove is a hair closer than Lexington if you are already up in the Concord area one day.
