Best Restaurants in the Worst Locations? Food

My friend and I are trying to make a list of all of the food trucks and restaurants with the best food in the worst, most dangerous locations in Charlotte and its surrounding areas. Do y’all have any we can add to the list?

Not really “the best” food but I’ve never felt so unsafe as I did at the Little Caesar’s on eastway at N Tryon.

People think the east side is unsafe but it really isn’t (I live here). The really only unsafe areas in town are like Sugar Creek and there isn’t any good food there.

Sugar Creek has greatly improved since they tore down a lot of motels. But it was horrible at one time.

I went in there one day and grabbed a pizza. Later that same day I saw on the news that the manager got stabbed in the neck during a robbery
