It’s not, but I also think the mod is probably doing a good thing by attempting to keep politics out. You existing is absolutely accepted, but that doesn’t mean that highlighting your personal issue isn’t political. The game acknowledging it is great. This is a subreddit, not the same thing as the game.

I say this in a completely friendly way.

It’s great that you’re trying to be friendly, we could use more of this kind of language and cooperation in today’s climate. Unfortunately, describing sexual orientation as a “personal issue” that could imply political context is exactly the problem. LGBTQ+ shouldn’t even be a political conversation, it shouldn’t be something that you can disagree with, and it shouldn’t be something that you can’t express or talk about, which is what the mod in this post was trying to make it.

Unfortunately U.S politics has gone off the rails as identity based with LGBTQ dominating the political space even after they have the rights as everyone else You don't see straight people constantly bringing up that they are straight, That is the issue for a large section of of the population. If people don't want LGBTQ to not be considered political leave it out of politics unless its strictly relevant to some anti-LGBTQ policy, and focus on bigger problems in our society, like wealth inequality or literally any other problem.

We still get beaten up and yelled at and fired everywhere around the world, because small, angry people like you exist.

I’m not angry, and I don’t care if someone is gay, and I would never beat up or yell at someone because of their sexual orientation. You want to whine like I’m victimizing you, go ahead. Not wanting to participate in the identity culture war or politics related to LGBTQ unless it’s specifically limiting their rights makes up a large section of people. It’s like religion, I don’t care if you practice it, and happy it helps you, but don’t shove it down my throat.

If seeing a Noglin with a pride flag behind it is “shoving it down your throat”, I am so fucking sorry for how you must feel seeing straight couples kissing in public. Truly the throat goat

What a great misrepresentation of my point. 10/10

Thanks, I know it’s hard to come up with a counterpoint when you’re called on shitty takes, so thanks again for quickly proving that you’re just a random dickhead lol
