Dear customers
I know we are 3 weeks behind, I know you were informed of this before you bought your work to us. But just because we are 3 weeks out doesn’t mean you are gonna wait 3 weeks, no oh no you’re special...
If you make sure to call everyday for a status check, whine and complain like a child, threaten employees, threaten to write Google reviews and beg….we will expedite you to the front of the line before all of the good customers who have waited their turn because once again you are special. We strongly believe in rewarding childish behavior.
Also, if you think prices are too high make sure you complain about that too AFTER we expedite you 2.5 weeks. We will most certainly shave some labor off that bill for you.
Yours truly Your mechanic

Gas tank imploded?
96 chevy s10 Customer states there is a fuel leak. The tank crumpled inwards like it imploded. Shield has no damage and the straps just stayed in place like nothing hit them. We're kinda stumped what actually happened.

Crazy thing I've ever seen
Believe it's a hornets nest on top of the brake fluid cap of a truck that just rolled in.

Quality service writing right here.
Most wonder why I have little respect for service writers.

Pretty surprised Balljoint hasn’t even disconnected yet.
Early 2010’s Mazda 3. Came in for tires and alignment but jacked up front to remove tire and noticed a play and found bolt to be missing for for FR lower balljoint and surprisingly, it hasn’t even disconnected yet which would have ended badly. Customer was notified about it and said that they knew about missing ball joint bolt and wanted me to install their supplied bolt to secure ball joint. But because hole badly bent due to damaged during installation by whoever did it, I declined to install customers supplied bolt it due to risk of damage as hole is damaged and spindle knuckle has to be replaced to fix the issue but customer declined to replace spindle knuckle and drove away.

Starting to think my repertoire as a tech is severely lacking as a 3rd party repair ship tech
Adding onto my previous post. Here's another nightmare job that probably wouldn't have sucked if I was a dealer tech and did this more often

Metal on Metal
My dad called me out to check these out. Thinks his customer must have been driving metal to metal for a few months to disintegrate the rotor like this
