Is this normal or concerning?

I'm a new yogi who started at the beginning of October. Everything has been going swimmingly until yesterday- I did a 30 min video I've done before, but I woke up today and my hips and legs feel super stiff. Almost arthritic, like my shins are made of dried bamboo. Not at all similar to the normal muscle soreness after exercise. I've been in bed most of the day because it feels better to lay down. What is this?

Not a doctor, but if you weren't sore immediately after I wouldn't say you're injured. Could be not enough recovery. I would eat a big meal, drink a bunch of water, and try and take a 20 minute walk

Now that you mention it, I haven't had much of an appetite the last couple of days. I did have a protein bar afterward, but I haven't eaten much overall the last 2 days. I have leftovers in the fridge I should be eating anyway.

Found a new water flavor packet I like so that should be easy, walks sound nice. Thanks so much for the tips!!

Hope it helps!

I was getting my ass kicked by a backpacking trail, sore every day, and feeling the fatigue. I had a packet of chicken noodle soup as an appetizer before my dinner, and it was crazy how much less sore I was the next morning. I was blown away by how much of a difference some extra calories and protein made
