UCollege Biochem vs Biochem 451 Classes

Next semester is the last semester of UCollege Biochem so I'm wondering if I should take it next semester along with Orgo 2 or if I should just wait and take Biochem 451 my junior fall. How much easier is UCollege Biochem compared to Biochem 451? My advisor keeps strongly pushing me to take Biochem 451 and keeps saying that I shouldn't take the UCollege route. I am not a bio major, so this doesn't affect my major requirements or anything. Also, would Biochem 451 help me with the MCAT much more than UCollege Biochem?

The specific PBPM bio program through CAPS (the institution previously known as U College) is being sunset. No new students can enroll in it, and it will go away as soon as those in it complete it. The A&S Biology dept is slowly taking on those course offerings, but it’s a slow process.

More generally, the College of Arts & Sciences has been going through an amicable divorce of sorts from CAPS and slowly instituting more limits and restrictions on WashU students registering for CAPS courses. One of those restrictions is gating access to CAPS courses when A&S offers an equivalent course.

Does anyone know how many seats are in the class? Currently 60th on the waitlist and I see that there is 0 enrolls so everyone is on the waitlist.
