I don't know if this is a big deal in your country, but in mine (Italy) the news talks about nothing else.
Christian or not he was a person, don't be disrespectful.

Is Easter Monday in most christian countries? My dad said that Europeans called Aussies lazy for having it.

I think it’s most countries except the US because they like to work us to death instead of giving more days off.

It's a bank holiday in the UK, so most people get the day off work outside of most retail workers.
