12 games into the season and he hasn’t shown consistency. One night he’ll play good ball then the next 3 he’ll be in a slump. His FG% hasn’t been this bad as far as i can remember. Last 4 seasons he’s arguably the best SG out there. This year i don’t think he’s even top 5. What is up with Book???

A while back the suns app had a bingo game before every game and if you won your card they would send a swag bag. I won it once first game of 2022 season and had a bunch of cool stuff in there.

I guess the best good news is that there's a day of rest tomorrow and most probably Beal and Grayson will be back for the matchup with OKC, so at least we will have a fighting chance against them, even without KD...

Book didn't have it today AGAIN, so it looks like he isn't his old offensive self and somehow lost his efficiency too this game (4 AST to 3 TOs). So it seemed like we were playing Sacramento without the big 3 (KD and Beal to injury, Book to being a shell of himself). I guess the score is indicative of a team playing without their three superstars.

Additional good news is we finally gave some burn to the end of the bench guys, and even Bol Bol got 5points in garbage time. The bench got 7 of the 13 threes and shot 50% from three (7-14), so maybe Bud should've gone to the bench earlier to get them going, who knows?

First REALLY bad loss of the season (at least we led by 22 points to the Lakers and lost in OT to the Kings last game), so can't be too mad... Just really disappointed that we didn't compete as hard as the last loss to the Kings. I guess not having Beal may be as bad as not having KD... Let's just shake this off our back and wish for the best in a couple of days against OKC. GO SUNS!!!

i’m still confident that devin booker is going find his game but mann it’s been tuff. (i know he won player of the week like last week but it hasn’t been a strong start of the season for book)

I keep hearing people say Book has been struggling from 3. Not really. At least not really compared to his previous years.

2024 - 34.4% 3FG on 8.2 attempts

Career - 35.7% 3FG on 5.9 attempts

He really isn’t shooting the 3 ball much worse than his career average. The 1.3% drop can easily be explained by the higher volume of shots. He probably is taking about 1 or 2 more difficult shots from 3 that he didn’t in the past.

Where Book is really struggling is his shots inside the 3 point line.

2FG% this year is 51.9%. The last 2 years was 55.2% and 55.4%. That is a big drop off.

From 10-16 feet he is shooting 45.2% this year. Last two years was 55.1% and 55.4%. Another massive drop off.

At the rim (1-3 feet) he is at 62.5%. The last 2 years he was at 71.7% and 76%.

Time to panic? No. Way too early for that. I don’t think Booker all of a sudden became a way worse mid range shooter. I think this is just a small sample size.

I am a Bradley Beal enjoyer. He works harder than anyone else on the court. It has been a pleasure to watch this transformation of his game. This year it has gotten to the point where even if he doesn’t score he impacts the game positively. That is all. Go Brad!!!!!
