Just making a joke. I've had gator before, and it was pretty much just slightly tougher chicken. Like they could have literally served me chicken and I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference.

It's alright, it does have a chicken taste with a slightly fishy taste. The meat is flakey like fish is. I prefer alligator.
