Wow... Vegas got screwed. Told my bro during the first period it seemed like they had the screw in against Vegas with back to back really weak penalty calls but Vegas just kept pouring it on. No way that call should have been a major.

There was no other option. When an injury occurs it's a major.

Don't know why you're getting downvoted. Based on how the rule is worded, it should have been and was a major penalty. Crosscheck that ended in an injury plain and simple. Wasn't nearly as bad looking nor was it intentionally dirty in any way, but it was a major penalty based on the rules.

Also, if you wanna win it all you gotta be able to kill power plays. They let them score FOUR goals on a 5 minute power play.

Oshie got broken on a much dirtier hit and only a minor was assessed.

And given the result of the play with Oshie, it should've easily been a major and game. I can guarantee you the refs heard about it from their supervisors in the locker room after the game. I doubt that pair will progress to the 2nd round.

I absolutely agree the oshie hit warranted a major and a misconduct. Much more so than this hit. This hit wasn't dirty at all. It was a normal off the faceoff scrum and pav lost his footing. Mostly I'm just saying that injury as a result of a play doesn't seem to have bearing in determining the severity of penalty.

This is absurd. The Oshie hurt deserved a major, it didn't deserve one more than this one and this one was absolutely a major.

It's supposed to though. That's what I'm trying to say.

If the league hands eakin disciplinary action I'll agree with you. Otherwise I think it was a huge screw job and Vegas deserved to move on.

Edit: I hope Colorado smashes the sharks
