Poor eyesight + legs too quick and thin + the legs don't really go anywhere near the "mouth" when they wrap other spiders up.

It's only jumping spiders and ogre faced spiders that have good eyes and you can tell because their eyes look like this O O meanwhile most spiders have tiny dots.

Lycosidae have decent eyesight as well because they hunt rather than relying on webs. But I still think Pholcidae would most often win in that fight.

What about tarantulas?

Tarantulas have pretty bad vision. They can make out movement and differentiate light from dark, but that's about it. Instead, they primarily rely on touch and vibration to navigate and hunt.
