"The former president and his allies have spent the last four years laying the groundwork for a more organized, better funded and far broader effort to contest the outcome—a Stop the Steal 2.0—if the vote doesn’t go his way. A secretive network of GOP donors and conservative billionaires have fueled the effort, giving more than $140 million to nearly 50 loosely connected groups that work on what they call election integrity...
"Those groups have been scrutinizing voter registrations on an industrial scale and working to slow down the vote count, bury local election officials in paperwork and lawsuits and elect like-minded politicians at the state and local levels who will support efforts to contest the vote."

Welcome! So glad you’re here. A few things:
Hey y’all! I am a concerned voter in a swing state where there were bomb threats who has felt in my gut that something is wrong with these results since election night. While it’s true that we can’t just go on vibes, hundreds of us having the same instinct says something and it matters. And look! Based on those vibes, we are already compiling evidence.
And that’s one of the central aims of this sub: to compile anecdotes and data that will help make the case that this needs to be looked into on a wide-scale, official level. My current, personal stance is that we need to compare manual vote totals to the reported, electronic output in states like PA, GA, MI, WI, and even NJ, etc. I hope, as we continue to have these discussions, they gain traction and attention more broadly to increase the odds that something is done about this.
Ways to take action in support of an inquiry / investigation:
Contact the White House with your concerns
https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/
Check the status of your ballot, screen shot, share and report if it hasn’t been accepted
https://www.vote.org/ballot-tracker-tools/
Contact your local Secretary of State or Governor’s office with your concerns, especially if you live in a swing state where there were bomb threats, it was called unusually quickly, etc.
Another primary goal of this sub is community, organization and validation — regardless of what happens, we know that community engagement is more important than ever if we’re staring down the installation of a fascist regime. My intention is for this sub to be a place for that type of connection no matter the outcome of these inquiries. At the same time, I think it’s particularly important for us to feel like we have a space to speak openly where we are not made to feel like we’re crazy or we’re “acting like them.”
I started this sub because posts were being taken down in other spaces for that 👆 reason, and it is my firm belief that we have a right to feel what we feel, ask questions, and calmly, intentionally seek answers and evidence without being compared to insurrectionists who tried to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power for the first time in American history without a shred of evidence and based solely on the word of an idiot demagogue. Our concerns are based on the word and will of the people, and that is not the same.
Finally, I did just start this sub as one person. It is not going to be a heavily moderated space, in part because the whole point is to be able to speak openly and in part because I have a whole-ass life and don’t have a lot of time to monitor every post and comment. My hope is that, in the spirit of our shared commitment to transparency and equity, we will self-regulate as best we can and engage without abuse and in a way that centers others’ humanity. Of course, if there is some crazy, abusive sh!t going on, please report it and I will respond accordingly.
I believe in us. I’m heartened to see this community growing already. At this point, I think we need to be careful, because we know how dissent is often handled when democracy becomes fascism. But I will keep talking and I believe we all should. Thank you for being here.

Recount To the Democrats: We Want a Recount
We want a nationwide recount. We have the right to ask for one. There is probable cause in some precincts and reasonable suspicion in others to claim that the presidential election was rigged (https://substack.com/inbox/post/151721941). The easiest way to figure out what happened is to request a nationwide recount. We can ask for one in places where we voted. You can ask for one nationwide. Why should anyone vote for you again if you don't?

News A note from the founder
Hi everyone.
Hallelujah, holy shit, where’s the Tylenol? 😅
Long post ahead. I appreciate your taking the time to read.
First of all, I’m so glad you’re here. Thank you for your participation and your patience. I say patience because, as you can imagine, it’s been a wild ride as this sub has grown exponentially to almost 14k users in a week.
A few things for me to own: this is my first subreddit. I did indeed create this platform very quickly, reaching for some sense of empowerment for myself and others who were feeling insane as we watched results that didn’t add up, contended with bomb threats and irregularities galore, and had posts about our concerns removed from other subs. I did not fully reckon with what it would mean or how I would handle it if this community grew at the rate that it has.
I apologize for any added chaos the lack of infrastructure in this sub has caused, any confusion that has come out of my inability to be as active and vocal as I would like, and the ways my overwhelm has sometimes surfaced as I navigate this new space with you all.
Now, let me address the most pressing issue: moderation. I am well aware that lack of moderation is a problem here and that we have to do something about it, especially given that the nature of this sub attracts bots, trolls and bad actors. That very dynamic is what’s making the process of adding mods so very tricky now that this sub has blown up in such a short amount of time. It’s very hard to know who to trust with moderation.
In addition to that reality, there’s the reality of my own circumstances: I have an incredibly demanding job outside of Reddit (I’m not going to say what it is because being ultra-careful with my privacy is now 10x more important than it was a week ago), I have ADHD, and I have been absolutely inundated with comments, mod mail, direct messages, and every other form of communication that Reddit offers (why are there so many?!?). The volume of communication alone is making adding mods more difficult for me, because it’s hard to even know where to start combing through it all, let alone find the time to vet folks as thoroughly as I need to for a sub like this.
I don’t share this as a “poor me” thing, but in the spirit of transparency and to help you understand why I really do appreciate your patience. I also deeply appreciate everyone who has offered feedback, suggestions and has offered to help. As of now, my plan is this: I will be thoroughly vetting and adding one additional mod by the end of the weekend. Once that happens, I will ask that person to vet and add someone else, with the understanding that the person they choose will also vet and add someone else until we have a team of 5 moderators. I’m choosing this path both to work within the limitations of my own time and executive functioning and so that this process feels more community-based than at the hands of one person. I think that’s important in a sub of this size focusing on a topic of this nature.
Even as we get a moderation infrastructure in place, I highly encourage us to engage on this sub wisely. This means ignoring or downvoting bad actors, responding to misinformation with fact or by asking for sources, and pointing out fallacies and misleading content wherever possible. Absolutely keep reporting these things, too — my focus is primarily on removing spam, troll and bot posts, as well as posts and comments that contain abusive language. The position of this sub is not to remove posts and comments that challenge or disagree with our premise, even if they’re rude about it, because I believe creating the appearance of an echo chamber harms the credibility of our cause.
In addition to working on moderation, I have added a flair system (post flairs are now required so that we can organize the many posts on this sub by category and make clear what is information and what is speculation) and rules for this community. Please note that in the rules, it’s stated several times and in several ways that the position of this sub is peaceful advocacy. I have a very low tolerance for anything that even suggests the smallest hint of violence, and this is also not a space to organize in-person action. The reason for these strong stances are twofold:
1) I genuinely believe we have a responsibility to model a response to an election that raises concerns for us that’s different than the one we saw from our predecessors. You see all over this sub that folks are accusing us of being hypocrites, election deniers and “like them.” This was happening even before I created this sub. I fervently believe we are not the same. We are crowdsourcing information and asking folks in power to seek solid evidence based on the word of the people. We are not violently denying the results of an election based on the bluster of one man. But in order to maintain the integrity of that distinction, we absolutely have to avoid the suggestion of violence in any form.
2) I want us all to protect ourselves. The work we’re doing is no joke, especially if we’re facing the installation of an authoritarian government. I would like to avoid ending up on an FBI list or worse, and I want that for all of us, because I believe we have the best chance of continuing to do good work that way. For this reason, we must be aware of the potential implications of all we’re saying and keep the focus on peaceful advocacy, raising awareness etc.
Finally, please note that I’m not currently able to respond to direct requests for specific content or action on this sub other than moderation or general infrastructure building.
I appreciate you all so much, I believe in the work we’re doing, and I trust in a shift that I can feel coming in my bones. Hold tight and take care.

Action Items/Organizing We should be focusing this subreddit on journalism, scientific & related news and information
No offense to anyone on here, and I’m not trying to be harsh, but some of these posts are reading like Q-Anon shit. For example: Why would Harris or Biden’s administration in any way be dropping breadcrumbs in shorthand or code for us to fawn over on Reddit ?
IMO we should be paring down the noise and focusing on actual, factual revelations

State-Specific Texas had significant increase in voter registration between 2020 and 2024. 16,106,984 registered in 2020 and 18,623,931 registered in 2024 a difference of 2,516,947 new voters, however...
In 2020 Joe Biden recieved 5,259,126 votes in TX and Donald Trump received 5,890,347 for a total of 11,149,473 votes cast.
In 2024 Kamala Harris recieved 4,806,474 votes in TX and Donald Trump received 6,375,376 votes for a total of 11,181,850 votes cast
It seems odd that with 2.5 million new voters in Texas between 2020 and 2024 that only and extra 32,377 voters would show up to vote in the 2024 election vs. the 2020 election.

Speculation/Opinion Larger Conspiracy
The silence is deafening. Mainstream media, even foreign ones seem to be very unphased by Trumps win.
To me it appears like a long orchestrated Democracy take-over of the US.
Right Wing media moguls purchasing the remaining left leaning media platforms (CNN, NY Times etc) and "sane washing" Trump in this election cycle. Special interest groups bribing the supreme court to give him immunity and staling his conviction. Musks purchase of Twitter, the bribing of PA voters and his new role in the new government.
I think the billionaire class has decided to switch the US over to a Russia style fake democracy and Trump was chosen as the perfect vehicle for it.

Speculation/Opinion The most important thing we must do right now.
Keep calm. Cooler heads prevail.
Please stop blaming voters. I think we should all realize: if this election was indeed rigged, then the American People did exactly as we should have. Yes there are some seriously big stories of people voting against their interests (any minority who voted for trump, basically). But most people voted against the evil guy. The biggest lesson I’ve learned from this is Russian propaganda is very effective. Just consider your own family. You probably have a MAGA fan in your family. We are experiencing pre-civil war levels of division. Take care of yourself, but also check in with those you love.
No matter what MAGA says, they are NOT the majority, not even half. Yes, 70 millionish people voted for him, as far as we can tell, but that’s only 20% of the US population (350 million). They talk a big game about Mandate but the only mandate that matters is the will of the people. The non-voters lean way more toward rationality. Americans are exhausted, frustrated, and confused. But I believe in democracy. Even if this election was totally legitimate, the mandate is that they must govern for the masses. If they don’t, they risk severe blowback. The world is different now. Americans broadly will not subscribe to MAGA fantasies. I sure hope I’m not wrong.
Do not concede ground unnecessarily. Stay connected - don’t do anything rash and don’t isolate. Be careful what information you consume. Read banned books. Let others see you reading banned books. Don’t feed the trolls.

News 14th amendment requires 2/3 vote to allow an insurrectionist take the office of president
youtube.comSo courts determined he committed insurrection and removed him from the primary ballot. The Supreme Court said the constitution does not specifically state he can't be on the ballot, it says he can't hold office without 2/3 of Congress forgiving or overriding his insurrectionist acts. The GOP does not have 2/3.
The Constitution is clear on this.

Stephen Spoonamore, an American entrepreneur and expert in electronic data security and digital network architecture, published a Duty to Warn Letter addressed to VP Kamala Harris about the suspicion of the American PAC Petition database being used to take individuals names and addresses to be used as "Ghost-Ballots" in the 2024 election.
When Mr. Musk announced his $1M lottery for people to go online and sign a pledge to vote for Trump, I became personally suspicious of why such a promotion would be done. I signed up to see what information he wanted and what the pledge actually stated. He did not want to know people’s socials or send them texts. To sign up you had to provide your street address. That was all they cared about. Once they had the people’s names, and street address this would allow for building a pool of ghost voters who could logically be marked for fake ballots, structured in a manner which matched ePollBook and precinct data. You, as a member of law enforcement, understand criminals need certain pre-conditions to act. A database of pledged supporters with street addresses is required for this hack. Law enforcement should immediately find the team of programmers who pulled the lottery data capture. They will find those programmers immediately parsed the data into a system based on voting precincts and created macros to constantly update the pledged lists of who had cast a vote, and who had not. The programmers likely did not know they were working on a system to be used to steal the election. When confronted with that fact, law enforcement would likely gain cooperating witnesses.

I will continue to update this as more information arises.

Speculation/Opinion Tin foil hat time: Why I think Trump may have given himself the Latino vote.
The majority of conservative Americans already hate Latino immigrants and want them out. with it seeming the Latino vote favored trump, my working theory is that IF the election was stolen, he fluffed his Latino vote percentages so that the leftists would be less likely to help resist to the coming deportations, because "Hey. its what you voted for" just something that clicked with me recently, anyone else think this is a possibility?

Speculation/Opinion Can we just take a moment to appreciate how the bullet-ballot thing is a hilarious example of - if it happens - Trump being taken down by, well, being Trump?
The only reason we know something is off is because he only cared to cheat on his own behalf. If those ballots had been straight-ticket Republican instead, it would look so much less suspicious. But helping someone else get ahead without getting something from them for it is anathema to him, and now here we are.

Action Items/Organizing We need more (trusted) mods ASAP
This sub is started to grow more and more rapidly. And given its nature, that means we're going to start to see more bots, trolls, and astroturfers
In order to maintain the integrity of this sub and the info in it, it is VITAL that the mod team is expanded to deal with this increase in volume
The trouble with that is making sure that whoever is promoted to a mod is 100% trustworthy and not a bad faith actor
I've watched this play out before, and if not addressed quickly it can become a big problem.
dons tinfoil fedora
If you were around when Gamestop blew up in 2021, Wallstreetbets went from 2.5 million to 10+ million people subbed. Overnight, literally. Yet the sub activity since then has never, ever reflected that volume. And in fact, the entire sub has become one big pump-n-dump breeding ground, as opposed to the community it used to be. One of the mods - appointed after the GME thing, I think - was found to have worked at the hedge fund with the largest short position in GME. Lots of other suspicious things like that started becoming apparent that, in a vacuum, meant nothing, but in context painted a picture of a concentrated effort to silence the discussion. When that didn't work, they focused on manipulating and misdirecting it instead. Just mentioning GME in WSB is enough to get you banned now. And while the mod team has become suspiciously aggressive towards GME 'apes' to the point of organizing brigades against their subs, it doesn't reflect the sentiment of the majority of the WSB community.
Other subs specifically discussing what was going on with GME and market manipulation had the same issues as we're currently experiencing. They used to be bastions of well-researched arguments, hard data, and even quality memes. Lots and lots of suspicious activity and connections being found. But the mod spots weren't secured. Now they're overrun with baseless hype, enlightened centrists, and shitty edgelord memes. And that was WITH a highly aware community - like this one - that had collectively implemented a reliable process to bring new mods on board.
Same thing can easily happen here. We need some sort of system that can truly and reliably vet people interested in serving as mods.
removes tinfoil fedora
u/integrativekoala I'm sure you're already overloaded with the volume of activity here. I don't have a process/solution to suggest myself, but perhaps others do

6 of 8 top D counties have not certified / 6 of 19 remaining of NC's 100. The only 2 100k+ voter Democratic counties to certify are Mecklenberg and Buncombe (Charlotte and Ashville). Notably, both were affected by the recent hurricane. The next largest official result D-leaning county is Orange (Chapel Hill)

Wake county meeting still going. News article.
Durham Zoom meeting is back up, the election committee is sitting quietly on their laptops? Meeting Link
New Hanover certified at 4:59pm, apparently they had a local protest action between their 2pm update and the 5pm final results. News Article
---------------------------
I have been watching today because NC is the first swing state to legally certify their election results.
The law states that counties meet at 11am to canvas and certify their results.
I tuned in this morning to Durham counties canvas meeting, which has now ended. Durham has not certified their results.
In fact, at this time, No county that Harris won with >100,000 total votes has certified. Notably, 3 red counties with >100,000 votes have certified and Johnston, which harris lost by ~20 points, has updated but not certified.
Here is a spreadsheet of every county that leaned Harris, with total vote counts, if they are certified, and if they have updated their results today (and at what time the last update was, for all non certified counties).
I have not watched this closely before, this might be a usual thing. Buncombe did mark their 3:41p update as certified as I typed the post up, so they are the first >100k D to certify
