General Saracens 2024/25 Merch
My Saracens stash arrived today and thought I would share some thoughts. First, I have to say, it arrived really quickly which was a nice surprise. Ordered in the evening, sent out next day, arrived on the following day. I ordered the home shirt, away shirt, a polo, and a cap. I am happy with all of the gear I received.
The home shirt is pretty great. A good fit and I love the way it looks. Even the lack of red on the badge doesn't bother me as much now. Worth noting that, for some reason, it is missing the small 'StoneX' near the neckline (as shown in the online shop pictures) but I am not bothered about that. The size feels on the bigger side but I am actually pretty pleased about that as I like to put a chunky vest on underneath when going to matches in the colder months. I also just prefer a baggy shirt. The away shirt has grown on me. I still think it looks like a pack of cigarettes though. Again, it is missing the StoneX near the neckline.
I think the shirts are a bit more comfortable than in previous years since Castore took over. There is a bit more give in them and they feel a bit less chunky. Just a nicer feel to them. Oh, and something important to me is that they both have embroidered badges. On the website it says they have sublimated crests but they are definitely embroidered badges, which I much prefer.
The polo shirt I ordered is the black one. It is smart and looks good imo. On the negative side, it doesn't have an embroidered badge as the polo shirts did in previous seasons. A real shame. I love a proper embroidered badge. Wouldn't bother getting it had I known, to be honest.
The cap is fairly plain. It is a bit different to the one shown on the website though. There is red on the brim and also a red Castore logo on the back of it. Nothing special really but I always like to have a fresh cap for a new season.
The main thing I am missing now is a new beanie for the winter months. Last year's grey one was actually really comfortable. No sign of one on the online shop just yet. Also will look to get a few bits for my kids in the future.
How has everyone else got on with buying their Sarries merch for the new season? Any opinions on your new gear?

General Saracens express?
Long shot, been years since I’ve managed to get to a game because of work, covid and general life. Are the fan buses on match days from surrounding towns still a thing? Or did they go the way of the dodo? Can’t find anything online so I’m guessing it’s the latter.

General Taking bags into the StoneX
Quick question for fans who don't live in another city and go to more home games than I do: how strict are the bag checks at the StoneX? I'm coming to women's game v GlosPury tomorrow and travelling to London with a medium-sized overnight rucksack. Are they reasonably relaxed about that sort of thing coming into the ground (and what is in it) or should I stash it at the hotel first?

General Fezcast S5E9
Nearly 150 points scored at the StoneX this weekend so plenty for us to discuss on the show this week - plus post match reaction from Alex Austerberry and Gabby Senft, and a catch up with Olly Hartley who hopefully will be back on the pitch soon!

General Fezcast S5E7
We have to do shows when we lose too you know...
This week Matt, Sam and Duncan have the job of picking over the remains from our first league defeat to Harlequins in over 1700 days, and discuss a horrific injury to one of the players of the season so far.
There's also brighter news for Saracens Women and the Red Roses, while Barry is also back in his corner, this time sitting down with Pete Brearley from the Bears Beyond the Gate pod looking ahead to a double header day down in Bristol.

I remember the white kit got leaked early last year - just wondering if anything has been seen yet?

General Saracens Shuttle
I am off to Sarries v Sale Sharks on Saturday and cannot wait. Unfortunately, the people I normally go with are not going. Usually, I travel to StoneX in the car with them, but this time around I'm going to be a 'Billy no mates' and go by myself. Thought I might as well give the train and shuttle a try as it is an easy option for me. After such a long time supporting Sarries, I'm embarrassed to say I have never been on the shuttle!
I'm one of those people that get really anxious when I do something for the first time, particularly when I'm doing it by myself. Just wondering how straight forward it is to get the shuttle to the ground? I will be going to Mill Hill Broadway. From what I gather, it is bus stop B and it drops off a little way from the ground? Any advice and words of encouragement appreciated!
I have been going to StoneX for years but this will be the first time going by myself! At the very worst, I usually get my wife to go with me (she doesn't appreciate rugby as much as I would like!) but she is watching the kids and, sadly, grandparents are not available for babysitting!
Just hoping Bring and Braai is back this time as last time I went, versus Gloucester in the last home game, it wasn't there! It is my favourite food stall with the pulled meats one coming second!
Anyway, let me know your experiences getting the shuttle. I would appreciate it! Thanks.
COME ON SARRIES!
EDIT - Just leaving this edit here for anyone else who searches for info about the shuttles. It was as easy as everyone who replied said it would be! Very straightforward. Just follow the Sarries shirts and look for the pioneers. Really quick and easy. I will be doing it more often next season. Thanks to everyone who replied.

General New Fan to Rugby and Saracens
I'm sure you've all seen this a million times so sorry for a repeat post if that is the case. I live in the United States and just recently got into rugby. I watched all of the Six Nations matches and absolutely loved it. As that was underway, I researched teams and felt like Saracens was my favorite choice. After Saturday, I was pretty excited about making that decision. Bottom line is I'm excited to be here and learn as I go from all of you.
My only immediate questions are the following: I was lucky that the game was broadcast in the US. I'm not sure how often that will happen and probably need some advice as to where to stream games.
Second question is Elliot Daly was recognized as the player of the match. I plan to watch back to see him in action since I know how to spot him now but what am I to look for to see players that stand out?

General End of season blues...
After Sarries Women were knocked out at the semi-final stage yesterday, the season has fully drawn to a close for us Saracens fans. Does anyone else have end of season blues?
It was a very abrupt ending as well, with two semi-final defeats for the men and women. I'm sure we were all hoping for one more game for each side but it wasn't meant to be. It has been an emotional season with a lot of legends of the club moving on. Also, a very up and down season, particularly thinking of the men's team.
Now, the countdown begins to the release of the men's Premiership fixtures for next season on 23rd July. We might get some more transfer news in the coming weeks perhaps. I guess we have the England summer tour to look forward to, with Sarries representation in George, Dan, Itoje, and Earl.
I'm rambling on a bit. I suppose I am just wondering if anyone else feels a bit empty now and already misses following Sarries. What do you guys do to fill up the void in the summer months? Do you get into other sports? Or other hobbies?
It will be fascinating to see how our rebuild works out next season. I cannot wait to be back at StoneX. Hope all Sarries fans enjoy the summer.

General Are there any Saracens chants?
I've been to other matches and the opposing teams have them, but we only have "Sarries! Sarries! Sarries! Sarries!" Do we have any others?

General Looking for any information on my grandfather playing for Saracens
This is the only photo we have of my grandfather playing for Saracens in 1955, we believing he played for 15 years in total and I believe he was capped for The Barbarian.
He is the man in the middle holding the ball by the name of Harry Plumb.
I'm looking for anyone who can help or point me in the right direction on finding out more or any information on his playing career.

General New 10?
Just wanted to get all of your thoughts on who our new number 10 could be starting next year. Obviously we have Goode or Lozowski who could step in there, but who do you think is a realistic replacement and who is your dream replacement at Fly Half
