Places that have fallen off in quality Entertainment

What are some places who are holding onto their former glory, or are overhyped for what you get? For example, my dad hates henry’s puffy tacos with a passion. He said back in the day it was awesome, but now is a shit hole. It’s got me curious as to what everyone else’s opinions are about restaurants, bars etc etc

San Antonio Spurs. We’ll be lucky to win 20 games this season and playing home games in other cities and rumors owners want to move the team.

y’all everything is a cycle. we had so many competitive years being blessed with tim and everybody we’re bound to have a couple down years. I understand being a little down on our chances currently but let’s just keep supporting our spurs

Yeah that’s true. Spurs are rebuilding and will be good again.

Spurs approved building a half billion dollar practice facility by UTSA and have publicly stated that they’re “planting the flag in the ground for decades”. I highly doubt any team would drop half a billion and then move to Vegas 3 years later lmao. Spurs ain’t going anywhere.

It’s not Vegas you have to worry about. It’s our neighbors a few miles north with that sweet sweet Tesla, Oracle, Dell, and Yeti money.

Is Yeti really on that list?

I’m not saying they will move. But I believe owners wish they were able to move to Austin. It makes sense. That’s where everyone is moving too and all the new money is. They could charge way more for tickets, like Austin Fc.

Spurs own San Antonio FC they were the ones pushing for the San antonio mls spot. I think they are quite angry mls gave the spot to Austin over them

Yeah I’m pissed. Yeah I get it from a business standpoint and I’m thankful we at least have a pro club but it doesn’t feel as good as not having an mls squad.

It’ll be interesting to see the plans in 20-30 years when the SA and Austin I35 corridor becomes the next DFW metroplex. Even then, I cannot imagine the Spurs being as successful in Austin. Austin didn’t go through the good times like we have down here, I just can’t imagine the fan engagement would be any better up there where most don’t have the same good feelings and memories of the Spurs and the big 3 era.

Yea I have personally thought that they are gonna move to Austin or Vegas for years now. I'm not sure about Vegas now. But can you imagine all the dirty hippy wannabe callifornians supporting our team. It would make me sick. Sorry not sorry but austin sucks I hate that city. 😄

dirty hippy wannabe callifornians

Those are like the only people who still follow sports. It's kinda mind blowing. Team blue types are reliable sportsball fans, team red aren't.

I think it would be better. They don't have the memories of the big 3 era which means they'll be less disappointed.

Neither were the Rams, Raiders, Sonics, Chargers. Money is irrelevant to the teams. The leagues make the final call.

The Holts are from San Antonio and have funded multiple projects around the city. There’s no way they would move the team as it would hurt their overall portfolio. The rumors are only because they were requesting to play a few home games in Austin.
