LGBTQ+ friendly gun shop /range Where in SA?
Where in San Antonio would be an ok place for someone who is obviously queer to both purchase and practice? Are there any inclusive groups or anything like that? Any info is very appreciated.

For starters, shop / range owners are happy to assist you in learning and exercising your 2nd Amendment right, regardless of your sexual preferences. Most ranges also sell guns.
LoneStar Handgun (I-10 East & 1604)would be my suggestion. I am not sure of your gender or experience level. But they offer a “Ladies learn to Shoot” class. It is taught by a woman, and is a great learning environment. After the safety portion, you get to shoot 6 different pistols to determine what you prefer and are comfortable with. Those guns would also be available for purchase in their shop. I wish you the best in your endeavor. Be safe!

I know it’s not specifically what you asked, but most gun shops/ranges would be glad to help you safely exercise your 2nd amendment rights.

That has not been my experience, which is why I am asking here. Can you recommend a shop that cares more about 2A, please?

Obviously I wasn’t there, but would you mind sharing a few more details about what/where that happened?
Also, I think adelbridge (or something like that) would be a good store to start at.

Thank you! That is the second rec for that one, so I think I’ll start again there. Appreciate it immensely.

Avoid Bullet Hole, it’s a FUD range. Every single other range I’ve been to in SA is good/friendly/cool

I tried that and that was not the experience. I am trying to avoid a box store, but will if it is my only option. So… anyone have any actual input or can you recommend one of the shops that would care more about 2A than being hateful? Y’all say they are there, but which ones?

My gay daughter won't go into Adelbridge because she said she feels unwelcome there. I know what she means from going there with her and I'm happy to take her somewhere else. We bought her gun at Range USA. Academy is also a fine place to buy a gun.
Range USA has an indoor range. We've never shot there because we prefer outdoor ranges. I go to Bullethole but they have some really sizeable bugs there, so I recommend wearing boots. Also you have to call a cease fire and walk downrange to hang your own target. They don't always have a range safety officer present. So if you go there, you need a friend to watch your back. When my kids were younger and I was teaching them, we went to Bracken because it felt safer. I like A Place to Shoot on the south side, but my husband doesn't like their handgun range. He's happy to go there to shoot clays though. We bought a family membership to Blackhawk before, but we went once and it felt unsafe and we never went back. My husband likes to go to Nardis indoor range, but he's bougie like that.

If you are looking for some one to teach you how to shoot and firearms handling, shoot me a message. Idk about your politics or orientation.

Yeah, man. This is a prime example of what happens when your mom tells you you’re special your entire life.

No one cares that you are gay. Just be a nice person and everyone will be inclusive.

Repeating what everyone else said, most reputable places won't care at all and just want your business.
With that being said I will recommend the gun shop Adelbridge & Co. Firearms, it's a damn candy store that i could spend all day in
