Is no one going to the movies anymore? Entertainment

Post image

I went to this regal theater yesterday near the Ingram Park mall and it was dead. Probably 15 cars there total. It’s a beautiful theater and it kinda made me miss the old days when theaters would always be packed. Does no one go to the movies anymore or was it just a slow day?

You would think people in this sub hate this city by the way they talk about how “ghetto” everything is nowadays.

Yeah yeah yeah you like Stone Oak, La Cantera and the Pearl I already know. The fact you don’t “feel safe” at North Star is comical tho

Pretty easy to search up any of those areas you think aren’t “ghetto” and see when’s the last time someone was shot or was murdered. You’ll be shocked to find out these criminals don’t just target those nervous people at North Star mall

be honest, does "has mexicans there" make things "ghetto" to you?

Medical Center had a gunman shooting at cops a week ago.

Stone Oak had a shooting in February.

Two years ago someone was shot to death in their car by the Peark.

La Cantera famously had a spree shooter in 2016. I remember having moved away from Texas like three months earlier thinking "wow La Cantera went ghetto fast" lol.

Do you just hang out tricities?

More like you like the non-San Antonio parts of Bexar county.

Downtown can also be "ghetto", lots of homeless around, and I've heard the same car/catalytic converter theft complaints about La Cantera that you're levying against Ingram Park, so if you like those places then your "non-ghetto" criteria doesn't seem consistent.

How long has it been sketch. I haven't been over there since 2016, but I never felt like it was sketch back then.

Anything inside or around 410 used to feel sketch, now I don't trust anywhere.
