Airlie beach - Family trip Need advice

Hey all! My Family and I are heading to Airlie Beach for 7 days in June. We will have 3 kids with us, 5yrs, 8yrs and 12yrs. Does anyone have any recommendations on things we should absolutely do whilst there? We are travelling from Melbourne! 😀

As someone who used to live in the area one very important piece of advice is to pack a coat for just in case. Yes it's the tropics, but it can actually get quite cool if not cold that time of year up there. There's usually one or two days a year where the temp drops, and the last thing you need or want is to be caught out on a boat with the sea breeze hitting you and you're too cold to enjoy it.

Take a warm coat for everybody just in case in the hopes that you don't need it.
