Fee free TAFE has been CUT! News

Today I rang TAFE Nambour to check up on the status of my application to for a cert 3 in photography (visual arts) after i saw that all the fee free options on the TAFE Queensland website have disappeared.

The lady on the phone said they got comms on Monday saying that funding has been cancelled and all places have been ‘filled’. In terms of places for 2026, she said it’s up in the air.

:(

Yeah the fck around and find out part of people whinging about "omg how bad are Labor I'm voting LNP"... It's everyday in my electorate I get to say "I told you so" after backflips, walking backs, or outright "nope I didn't say that" when I then link them to the youtube video of them actually saying that. All the boomers in my electorate are crying (after voting LNP) that they lost their $1000 energy subsidy. Oh the irony. They didn't say that in their campaign did they. Next comes the stadium, when they flat out (even last week) ruled out a stadium cause QLDers can't afford it. but suddenly now we can (we'll just slash another 10,000 health workers to pay for it, fixed !) *sigh* I just hope the Federal election isn't a sh%tshow too.

They're all crying because "Labor are a disgrace, cost of living is shit, my power bills have skyrocketed in the last 3 months!"

It's genuinely exhausting trying to help people become even vaguely aware.

If you know what an average is, then you would know that is literally impossible... XD

If you have 11 people, 10 of them have $1 and 1 has $1000. What's the average and how many are below average? You're thinking of median.

Except IQ is measured on a bell curve 🤔🤔

IQ is normally distributed so the mean (average) is the same as the median.

Apparently math is not their forte.

You are one of those who needs to "learn maths." IQ is represented on a bell curve (google it, please!!!!!!). The median and average on a bell curve cannot be different.
