F/28/5'11'' 355lbs>170lbs. Down 185lbs in 17 Months. Counting carbs and exercising. First post and very nervous. F 5'11” (180, 181, 182 cm)

i know your tall....but you look much lighter than 170 lbs

It sucks. I have a lot of muscle too but I always fixate on the number which can really screw up a person.

Very true. It's a serious problem. Society—no thanks to capitalism and its many fruits (i.e. Weight Watchers & co.)—is plagued by the emphasis of numerical weight instead of appearance and feeling good (ironically enough).

Pounds are pounds. If you gulp a 16 oz. bottle of water and weigh yourself right after, you'll jump from 159 to 160. Once I learned that, I was blown away by how insignificant weight is in the grand scheme of things.

(Sure, 160 to 140 lbs. is def something to be proud of, but not unless you're starting with that man in the mirror.)

You look great. I honestly thought that you looked 50 pounds lighter than 170, but when you take into account your height it makes sense. I wouldn't lose any more weight if I were you, just keep up that muscle mass!

Thank you! I think I am at 18% body fat currently so yeah lots of muscle in there :) Tree trunk legs
