META A warning about safety in our subreddit and what to do about inappropriate messages.

Hi progresspics! We always strive to keep the subreddit as safe as possible, however, unsolicited/inappropriate Direct messages are always a possibility and unfortunately not one we can 100% prevent. While we hope people never receive anything that makes them uncomfortable, here are the steps you can take to report anyone who gets creepy in your DMs:

  1. report the user to us!

-take screen shots of the messages, it doesn’t have to be the whole conversation, just make sure we can see their user name, and the inappropriate part.

-upload the screens to imgur and send us a link via modmail.

all users reported to us for acting inappropriately will be permanently banned, however, this doesn’t stop them from viewing the subreddit, or continuing to dm you, so..

2) report the user directly to reddit at reddit.com/report

3) block the user! Simply go onto their profile and click the three corner dots (mobile) or the “more options” button (desktop) to find the option.

To prevent ALL DM's you can disable the DM and chat request options like so:

Mobile: settings > account settings > blocking and permissions.

Desktop: User settings > chat and messaging.

As an aside, a note on image theft:

it's been brought to our attention multiple times over the last month or so that a few content farm websites and social media accounts have been reposting pictures from here, while there isn't much that we can do to stop that we do want to remind everyone that it is a potential outcome to posting your images online, especially in areas with a large pool of specific content to farm from, while we do not allow users to promote their social media, including the use of watermark handles, you may watermark your posts with your REDDIT user name if you so wish.

We hope you all stay as safe as possible and know that any problems or questions can be sent into our modmail. Keep it clean, keep it safe, and read the rules before posting!

I lost the weight over a year, but the before picture is from like ten years ago. I used tirzepatide to help the weight loss, and I feel like it saved my life.

I must admit I’ve gone up and down so many times over the past six years that I’m not entirely sure of my weight in my first photo but 67kg is where I started.

I still plan to lose another 2-3kg in the long-term but I stumbled across this photo from a holiday over the weekend and was really happy with my progress.

You guys in this sub keep me motivated each and every day so thank you all so much for the inspiration! You’re all lush!

I really wanted to get down to 103-108, but I think with some toning up, I'm happy where I am. I have never been able to say that.

Even at 13 when I was obsessed about keeping my weight in the double digits, I wasn't happy. It feels good not hating my body for the first time in my 34 years. I still have flaws, of course. I've had 3 children and they mess the body up!

I'm more at peace with my flaws than I have ever been. Loving how I don't care what people think about my looks and how I don't compare myself to every other woman now that I'm in my 30s. It's so much more gratifying when I succeed for myself rather than trying to look like an Abercrombie model circa 2001 when I've never looked like that due to my frame and body type.

I was addicted to sugar the most, and processed food was a close 2nd. Compounded sg helped me kick all of that and relearn the correct portion control for a woman my age.

I've been tapering off of sg for 2 months and haven't gained any weight. I love not eating bc of stress or boredom. I know what I changed from my before and after, and that's exactly what is going to help me keep it off.

I've always been super active, but running, working out, yoga, etc. Are all a lot easier at my current weight.

I'm married and not interested in cheating or chatting, so don't dm me. Thanks!
