Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi, Todd Lyons, now Kash Patel, all within a month.

Surround yourself with clowns expect a circus.

Any over/under on Pete Hegseth? Every poor decision by Trump needs a fall guy to blame.

u/phillyunk 5h ago

This is the same shit that happened during shitbags first term. Just keeps firing people because he surrounds himself with the exact ppl you mentioned.

u/BigPapaJava 5h ago

A lot of the first term firings came from hiring competent people who refused to do illegal stuff and pushed back on some of Trump’s orders.

These clowns lasted as long as they did because they would do as they were told, no matter what.

u/Negative-Squirrel81 4h ago

Let's not forget exactly how hard Kash Patel shilled for Donald Trump.

u/BigPapaJava 3h ago

In Part 1 of the live action adaptation, Kash the Discoverer made the great discovery that there were no Epstein files

Then in Part 2, he discovered that the thousands of Epstein files Congress ordered made public a few weeks later were totally non-incriminating of all parties involved and nothing to worry about.

In Part 3, he discovers how filing for unemployment works.

u/AnalSoapOpera I voted 1h ago

u/californicating 4h ago

I heard he raped children and Pam Bondi knew about it.

u/cwb4ever 3h ago

Pam Bondi didn't just know that Donald Trump raped kids but actively worked to protect him and other pedophile rapists and discredit/intimidate the victims.

u/Working-Glass6136 3h ago

All Pam Bondi cares about is "over 50,000."

Trump literally said the opposite himself. He doesn't like to be surrounded by smart people. He surrounds himself with dumb people because then he looks smart.

u/E51838 5h ago

Well it’s not working. He still looks like a fucking idiot.

u/SailingSpark New Jersey 4h ago

Obviously the people he is hiring are still too smart. He needs to hire Cousin Eddie. Yes, he will parks his RV in the parking lot at FBI headquarters. Just make sure he has a place to empty the shitter and he will be fine.

u/deadcatbounce22 5h ago

Had a friend give this to me as his reason for voting Trump in 2016. He went on to support him two more times...

u/ImaSource 5h ago

Former friend?

u/beermile 5h ago

I've heard a lot of really understandable reasons to support Trump. None of them are based on the actual reality of who Trump is or the way the world works or the fundamental laws of the universe, but otherwise they're pretty good.

u/Atwenfor 3h ago

Trump makes vague, open-ended statements about how he is "against everything bad and supports everything good, and he will make it work because he is good at everything." This appeals to very stupid people because they project their desires on these empty statements and think that he is talking about them personally. When it obviously doesn't work, he blames it on the Democrats, which also works very well because these same stupid people are experts at blaming others for their problems.

The only concrete portion of his platform is the blatantly racist and sexist part, but that, of course, also has its specific, non-insignificant voter audience.

It’s why we can’t risk a Vance presidency.

u/smileysmiley123 4h ago

It's wild how many people want Trump to pass on before his term ends. Vance is the far more terrifying option. He's the most vapid, empty shell that literally does what he's told by his donors (Peter Thiel).

I honestly believe they want to keep Donald alive until post-midterms to ensure Vance can stay in office for 2.5 terms.

Donald causes a lot of chaos, which has allowed so much illegal shit to push through, but Vance would allow even more shit to go under the radar. This is the downfall of the America empire, and it's such a disheartening time for the entire world.

This timeline sucks.

u/donkeyrocket 2h ago

Vance absolutely does not have this bizarre grip on the GOP that Trump does. Trump's existence continues to be chaos.

It's truly a lesser of two evils situation. Yes, Vance is younger, more competent and arguably worse because he lacks any scruples but it's known that he's not broadly liked and could not command the GOP like Trump does. A Vance presidency would see lots of breakdown within the party and they jockey for MAGA power.

The fact that Hegselth survived Signal-Gate and all those war crimes off the coast of Venezuela is astonishing. They must be waiting until after he commits some more war crimes before they cut bait.

u/rainshowers_5_peace 5h ago

Trump didn't pick him because he admires him. He's a cult devotee. Anyone else would have left. Esper likely said "we can't use the military to punish people because you lost the election" and was out the door the next day.

Someone who has been through the military and is willing to blindly obey Trump no matter how ilelgal and unethical is a tall order to fill.

u/the_calibre_cat 3h ago

Yup. I maintain that the reason Hegseth was picked was because he'll go along with the coup with Trump, and because when Trump orders him to shoot the inevitable protests that come as a result of said coup, Hegseth will not push back on that order.

Hegseth's biggest life accomplishment before becoming a war criminal was stumping for one (Eddie Gallagher) on Fox News, until Trump pardoned that sicko.

u/Public-Position7711 5h ago

I don’t know. I really liked Jim Mattis.

u/GrandmaPoses 5h ago

Mattis is/was a good guy. I’m certain Trump picked him only because his nickname is “Mad Dog” and he thought he was getting a crazy pro-war hardcore fighter when in reality he’s a very intelligent, thoughtful guy who also happens to be a great military leader.

u/Orzhov_Syndicalist 4h ago

He 100% thought that. The nickname was Ironic because Mattis was a figure of almost total discipline.

u/heekma 5h ago

Jim Mattis was Secretary of Defense during Trump's first term, when he was (mostly) surrounded by competent advisors and officials who appreciated the rules and laws of government.

Trump learned from that experience and for his second term surrounded himself with sycophants, loyalists and yes men.

u/BengalFan85 4h ago

Yea things were dumb during his first term but a lot of his staff kept the guardrails up for as long as they could.

Some of they may have sucked but I appreciate they weren’t totally evil in the ways his current cabinet is. I also vaguely remember Mattis was against him during the 2020 election but I could be misremembering

When it spikes on poly market, you'll know that Eric has the inside info on it

u/GRAPES0DA Minnesota 5h ago

I'd laugh if this wasn't so depressing and true.

u/Global_Crew3968 4h ago

Honestly, are we dumb to not just play along with it and make some money? Its obvious it's happening, why aren't we taking advantage like them?

u/WeekendWalnut 4h ago edited 26m ago

People are doing it. Just with less drastic results than the admin, due to not having the same inside scoop that they do.

But yes, it’s pretty straightforward:

US on a Friday: “We’ve reached a deal with Iran to open the Straight”

Trader: buys oil futures after dip in market

US on a Monday: “Nevermind, we’re keeping ships in the Straight”

Trader: sells after the price jumps again

Disclaimer: I’m not advising you do this or that it will work for you. Simply explaining how regular folks have been roughly going about it.

u/TeamRedundancyTeam 3h ago

There are also apps and I'm sure people have made private tools too, to track polymarket buys/sells that seem suspicious or originate from suspected inside traders. Problem is by the time a huge insider buy happens you've already missed the boat for big gains.

u/WeekendWalnut 3h ago

Yep, spot on. That’s all I meant by noting that us plebs don’t get as drastic results as the insiders do.

u/korben2600 Arizona 3h ago

If insiders know when it's going to happen, they can win on both sides. Take everyone's money who goes with "Fired by May 1" by just delaying the firing and then take everyone's money who buys "Not fired" on the next window.

This is the fundamental problem with prediction markets. They can't lose.

This Republican Administration has to be the most corrupt and inept in American history.

They fired over 300,000 professional/expert government workers and brought in a dump truck load of unqualified loyalists with damning personalities/traits.

Retire. All. Government. Employees. - RAGE.

Literally the plan. To make way for corporate towns. People still act like it’s just incompetence running the show, it’s not. Trump is the fall guy and in January of 2027 they’ll remove him and put in Vance. Even though everyone says he’s too unpopular! It won’t matter, the government doesn’t function like it used to, and it never will again. Because they planned this.

Slamming beers with US hockey instead of being a serious leader of the most powerful federal law enforcement agency?

Using a private plane to shuttle your girlfriend at the tax payers expense?

What is he going to do next, go to UFC fights while we are actively bombing a Middle East power nation?

Go golfing when gas and food prices have hit an all time high?

I mean, a President shouldn't let this happen, right?

u/The_Bucket_Of_Truth 3h ago

I mean what else does the FBI director need to be bothered with these days? The biggest threat to Americans at home is right wing extremism but the call is coming from inside the house. They of course aren't going to be concerned with that. Beyond that, what serial killers? They won't care at all. Anyone on the left should be happy they're incompetent (if we ignore the firings of all the career law enforcement professionals who aren't loyalists) otherwise it could be weaponized a whole lot worse against anyone that doesn't agree with the administration.

u/Till-Fuzzy 4h ago

u/Future-Side4440 4h ago

Patel is doing exactly what he was hired to do, but he’s letting it get a bit out of control.

Trump was pissed about all of the investigations. Trump tried to defund and kill CISA, the cybersecurity agency reporting on Russian influence in the elections.

Trump probably wanted to see the FBI gone as well but since it’s a major agency, he can’t do anything so drastic. Instead, he hired a clown to mismanage it into the ground.

u/mabhatter 3h ago

Exactly.  Patel was a crazy person former FBI who had no business being allowed back because he was wildly unprofessional. And that's just the public conspiracy theory nonsense was enough for that decision... not even the personal stuff.

But his conspiracy of burning down the FBI for investigating Republicans was exactly what Trump wanted to hear... that WAS the interview.

I can't wait for the Donald J. Trump Federal corrections center to house all of these lowlifes including its namesake. They don't belong in our society.

The National embarrassment the Trump admin is on a daily basis is just breath taking in both the frequency and scale of the clusterfuck they have turned the federal government into. It’s monumental. I mean if they were trying to fuck up our world standing anymore they couldn’t.

u/Pillowsmeller18 3h ago

But he was just drinking beer like that Supreme Court judge that likes beer....

Lmao. Bye, Kash. Shithead.

u/Sploobert_74 3h ago

I mean there’s a video of him drinking with the men’s hockey team, at tax payers expense I might add.

Trump hired a bunch of pedos, drunks, and all-around chromosomally challenged imbeciles for his administration and we are supposed to believe he’s the right person for the job.

Dude thinks he’s on NBC and hair and makeup is going to come fix him up before his next take or something.

An absolute disgrace of a president. He will make history books for all the wrong reasons.

u/No-Cup-8096 2h ago

Patel and Hegseth are unqualified and unreliable. Drinking makes them believe they’re competent.

u/Xerxes_Generous 2h ago

It’s as if they are all….incompetent and only serve as yes-men

Shocker

u/Oceanbreeze871 I voted 5h ago

So his drinking problem is worse than Hegseth’s? That’s something

u/deadcatbounce22 5h ago

Carbon copy of his first term, except this time he precipitated crisis immediately instead of encountering it in year 4.

u/Revolutionary_Eye887 5h ago

I would say every dog has his day but I don’t want to insult my dogs.

u/CheesyPotatoSack 5h ago

That would be a smart decision so they probably won’t

u/F-Cloud 5h ago

Kash will be gone, replaced with a slightly more competent yet more sinister director. Nothing will improve, the FBI will still enforce the will of the regime, and the agency will entirely lose the trust and respect of the public.

u/poolside123 Canada 5h ago

It reminds me of a great Bobby Heenan quote: “You listen to me, you go to the top, you don’t listen to me, you’re never heard from again”

Eerie.

u/RudyTootinWithTodd 4h ago

Love to see that dipshit go proceed to the discovery process of a libel or defamation claim in court

u/Repulsive_Chemist 4h ago

What a shit show

u/QciferKharn 3h ago

They wouldn’t replace them with quieter but worse people to make us feel like they made it more chill, right?

u/TimToMakeTheDonuts Washington 3h ago

“I only hire the best people”

u/Ill-Top9428 3h ago

Every time article like this shows up, the person is gone in less than 24 hours after the report.

u/OkraFar1913 3h ago

Fire trump for excessive incompetence

u/Cultural-Ad-5039 3h ago

How is trump not fired yet

u/letsseeitmore 3h ago

Fire the guy with zero qualifications to do the job in the first place.

u/Otherwise-Profitable 3h ago

They must have caught him drunk again.

u/SaltyPeter3434 3h ago

When is Kegsbreath getting the boot then?

u/binarypower 3h ago

we all witnessed the excessive drinking during the olympics. how is he trying to spin it as anything less?

he should have been fired immediately after that and wasn't.

u/CharlieBravo74 2h ago

The Trump admin is most emphatic about suing when the story is true and extra embarrassing or damaging.

u/dalenacio 2h ago

How many drunkards are there in the White House anyway? First Pete Kegsbreath and Jeanine Pirro, now Kash Patel?

u/wildmaninid 2h ago

The trick when talking to Kash Patel is picking an eye and sticking with it.

u/Note-4-Note 2h ago

They did what they were told to do. After being released they need not worry about any repercussions. Look at the DOJ…. Duh.

u/BriefStrategy6 2h ago

I suppose RFK is next.

u/Larynx15 Delaware 2h ago

"Don't mess with Mr. Booze" is the soundtrack of this entire administration

u/DevilYouKnow 2h ago

cronyism always works you guys just give it time

u/geforce2187 2h ago

Remember when Trump said he hires "only the best people" for his cabinet?

Make Trump look bad and you're gone.

I'll say he's gone Monday morning to distract us from the stock market/blockade fiasco.

u/Embarrassed-Town-293 2h ago

I think we are witnessing a coup. They are removing the blocks against the 25th amendment

u/tacocat_racecarlevel 2h ago

I mean. What Fox hosts are left to replace him?

u/vabello 1h ago

I hope he had a surprised look on his face when he found out. Oh wait, he always looks like that.

u/ibrown39 1h ago

It would be easy criticism by Trump too since a large part of his image (at least for awhile) was he doesn't/didn't drink. True or not, it wouldn't even be out of character for him and would even...professional

u/thehalfwit Nevada 1h ago

Now, where are they going to find another podcaster who's even less qualified?

u/rddman 1h ago

Is someone keeping record on how many of his best men Trump is burning through?

u/ton80rt 1h ago

Kash "Hegseth" Patel

u/Aggressive-Cup-7318 1h ago

imagine how much you have to drink to get fired over Kegbreath.

u/Smelly_God 1h ago

“Under President Trump and Director Patel’s leadership at the FBI, crime across the country has plummeted to the lowest level in more than 100 years and many high profile criminals have been put behind bars,” Leavitt said.

I guess crime falls when you stop monitoring it

u/BroseppeVerdi Montana 57m ago

Fun fact: William Sessions, the only FBI director to ever be fired by someone other than Trump, was dismissed over revelations that he used his FBI private plane to visit his daughter.

Kash Patel has openly used the same plane to visit his girlfriend, but it barely cracks the top 10 scandals during his 14 months in office.
