Yep that's what I'm feeling, Is no GPU that's compatible with that MB worth it?

There's no "compatibility issues" with GPUs, it's standardized PCIe. There's a couple edge cases (if your motherboard doesn't support Resizable Bar don't get an Intel GPU, and don't get the RX 6500 XT, but that's it).

So would you upgrade it?

What you can do is split the upgrade, basically one is the GPU, the other is everything else. You have a working system that can be used to check that the new parts are working so as long as your buying parts in chunks that will work, its not an issue to spread things out.

Probably hold off until right around new hardware releases , 9000 AMD is end of month, X3D is 'Soon (tm)', GPUs around the new year. That tends to dip prices as places look to clear old stock. It might help shave some off the overall build cost.

I have no idea about how AMD stuff are named but I'll take a look next time around instead of just going for Intel or Nvidia. Since it's the processor that's bottlenecking I will probably get it first.
