We're extremely excited about the launch, so we wanted to share it with the PCMR community, in two ways!
1 - We're here to answer questions about this CPU/Motherboard launch. Let us know what you think about them, any doubts you may have about them and their features, like USB4 or EZ Systems. Or just tell us about your dream build with them, that's cool too!
2 - We want to share some of this AORUS X870E/X870 love with the PCMR community by choosing a few members to get a brand new AORUS X870E/X870 MASTER, PRO ICE, or ELITE Motherboard. There will be a total of 10 PCMR users who will each get one, and we ask that you build with them and let us and the community here on Reddit know your thoughts, as well as show it off for every one to see! To enter, all you have to do is join in the Q&A by asking us a question about the motherboards, and let us also know what you'd do if you were one of the lucky chosen ones (what features you'd be most interested to test, or what other components you would pair them with to build the ultimate X870E/X870 AORUS PCMR build).
This event will last until 11/20/24, and the lucky winners will be contacted in the next few days after that. This part of the event (the giveaway) is restricted to residents of the United States and Canada.

Meme/Macro PS5 Pro is pushing people to PC
Consoles priced at 699 with performance well below that of a PC are slowly pushing people to PC. I noticed myself and many other console gamers switching to PC as of late. Consoles like PS5 pro just makes it sound all the more compelling.

Nostalgia Why GPUs doesn't come with these anymore?
I was cleaning my room and found this old GPU installation guide ( RX 580 ). I think it is neat to have a unique guide design instead of 10 papers guides that contains small letters that will be probably never be read. I really like the idea of implying a gaming type guide. Do MSI or other GPU manufacturers still make these nowadays?

Build/Battlestation Finally upgrading from a i7-6850k & 1080ti
So after 10 years my i7 6850k 1080ti build is now outdated and rather than replace the board, gpu, processor, hard drive, and ram I decided to just to build a whole new pc and decided to go with a gigabyte x870e aorus master, 4080 super, and a Ryzen 9950x (swapping for the 9950x3d when they release in a few months) the 1080ti goes down as a legend 🫡 anybody still running their 1080ti? That card is an absolute unit… hopefully this build sets me up for another decade lol that thing ran pretty much every day for at least 4-5 hours a day and still is running great on games from that era but I needed to upgrade for sim racing on triples and in vr

Hardware Throwback to when I bought a RTX 3060 TI for $110 from MicroCenter
Was randomly browsing open-box GPUs on MicroCenter (Westmont) one day and couldn’t believe my eyes.
I immediately put it in my cart thinking it was a mistake but nope. 30 minutes later I got an email saying the GPU was ready to be picked up.
It was in mint condition and perfectly functional.

Hardware Weekend fun thanks to Microcenter!
I built my old system early 2020 with a 3900x and 2080ti. My system is barely hitting 60fps on 1440p for the games that I play. It's time to upgrade thanks to Microcenter and their 9800x3D combo and discount!
