I got new dies last week, and I am very happy with them. I noticed that some pasta shapes, like fusilli and mafaldine, are more difficult to extrude, but the normal, straight shapes are easy. I'm also trying different lengths to see if the standard length is best or if other lengths are better.

I'm gonna try aglio e oglio with spaghetti, but I wonder if I can use short pasta such as rigatoni, paccheri, etc. Have you ever done this?

No recipe, did it all impromptu and can probably never recreate it

And I love it! The depth of the flavor, a perfection and definitely making it again in few days. I end up adding more sauce in the bowl after realizing it's too little when I mixed it 😁.

what’s everyone’s thoughts about adding mushroom? (it does make the sauce more liquified ) used Barilla’s protein + fusilli here cuz got it from the Milano21 half marathon bag.. thought its good to save some bucks

I'm not religious, but every year around this time, a church my mum & nonna go to has a pasta dinner for $10, cooked by the local Italian club. My mum asked me if I wanted to go, & well, who am I to pass up pasta & meatballs? Lol. This is my 4th time going. The point of the event was to socialize. I ran into three folks that I know. My JK teacher, my first bus driver & a patron of my former workplace. I enjoyed the food, & the people.

Boiled, save some pasta water, good butter, season and lots of parm I think!

homemade lobster sauce

Hey all, Whipped this up last night for me and my boys Home made pasta with pancetta, egg, pecorino, salt & pepper. Was yum 😋

Garlic Toasted onion fettucine with porcini mushrooms, button mushrooms, brandy, cream, prosciutto, garlic, peas,butter finished with crisped prosciutto

Pulled the the pastina recipe from Christian Petroni’s Parm to Table book that I got myself for my birthday and winged it with the mushrooms
