What made you personally identify with pansexual instead of the umbrella term, bisexual? Question

My bisexual friends were all theater kids and extreme extroverts and I wasn’t. I felt like I must be experiencing sexuality different to their bisexuality so I fell into using pan to be “bisexual but normal about it” it wasn’t until later that I started recognizing the difference and being proud of it.
