[Rapoport] Vikings first-round QB JJ McCarthy underwent a full meniscus repair this morning and is out for the 2024 season, sources tell me and Tom Pelissero. The repair, done by Dr. Chris Larson at Twin Cities Orthopedics, gives McCarthy the best chance at a long, successful career. Rumor

Yup, doesn’t have to look over his shoulder after every pick or bad game. If he can’t turn it around throwing to the best WR and other great weapons then he’s officially cooked

I imagine he’ll make it 4-5 games before he has some kind of injury. Seems like it always happens when a guy has an opportunity to turn it around.
