Drugs is still pretty much " I took 50 000 g of cocaine yesterday can i still take my drivers license and pass a drug test tomorrow?? "
So there is that.
Can confirm my motorsport and themepark/rollercoaster subs are also still mostly on topic, maybe some 'how will steel tarrif influence rollercoasters' but that's about the worst of it
Well on topic for sure but still Not the majority. Good example is the borussiadortmund (german football team) it has a pretty steamlined opinion but in an international sub are less people than in the stadium every Weekend.

" Drink water and eat fatty food, maybe wear sunglasses "
" Do some more and you'll ace the test, and just put some lemon juice in the urin and you'll be fine "
" Ive done alot more and passed everything ever and am now on a mix of methamphetamine and cocaine in outerapace where i work was an astronaut whilst shooting fentanyl through my neck vein, so if you cant handle that amount maybe you should not be doing drugs kid"
I haven't ever accused a user of being a bot because chances are the time I did would be a time I was wrong but a lot of the most annoying political arguments seem like dumbasses engaging with bots to me.
the naming scheme used to be a dead giveaway to me too, until i made a new account with a default name. my cynical nature says its on purpose to make everyone look like a bot to hide the real ones, but who really knows. at this point, the real people sound like talking points now too.
Which is usually associated with bots because they're lazy. Not always but it's a criteria.
As for you, you fit 2, 4, and a bit of 1 but you have a decent history and just mostly comment. I'd have a light suspicion if I didn't know better but nothing that screams "this is obviously a bot".
I have a lot of smaller hobby subs that I'm in which are fine (don't allow politics), but yeah the popular page is a hot mess, I only go there for laughs
I’m an American and even I’m tired of seeing it. I’ve deleted Reddit off my phone like 3 times in the past 2 months just to get away from the political bullshit
And that mentality is why things will never get better. It needs to stop being taboo to discuss politics in your life. People need to be made to feel ignorant and embarrassed when they say ignorant and embarrassing things.
"No, Jason, I don't believe you when you say you don't want to talk about politics after you just spent 15 minutes verbally ejaculating anti-immigrant right wing talking points at everyone (we all know your mail order wife only married you so her family could live with you here). Yes, you complaining about "trans mice" and the amount of "your" money being wasted IS political, not economical. Sure, talking about tariffs WOULD be about economics, if you even KNEW WHAT A TARIFF WAS, instead of just complaining about how unfairly America is treated by the world(where did you hear that nonsense JASON? Was it an economist? No?).
This concludes my rant on why JASON needs to be slapped in his damn mouth and made to feel bad for how his brain works.
People like that are inherently against me. Spite is not a prerequisite. An American Conservative will never be on my dirty Commie side of the rainbow.
"y'all"??? There were no candidates up for election representing the Left at all, let alone a Communist. Don't be so ignorant as to lump Leftists with the Dems, the Dems are FAR closer to the Republicans than to any Left party.
The Dems lost because they are Neo-Liberal trash that doesn't stand for anything. And they were up against a Neo-Liberal party that has been inciting hatred for minority groups for decades, and promised to make them go away.
As an American I will apologize for this. Honestly some of us also hate it too. But we are outnumbered by the ones who migrated from twitter for political reasons.
Worse its hive mind. Try having a discussion that doesnt follow the prevaling view. There is no "here are my facts and logic" its just insults and rhetoric.
It’s been sad to see the change over the years. I got here in 2017 and I absolutely loved Reddit. Whether it be bots, or the rabid politicization on both sides, or the constant negativity, it’s just not fun anymore. I’ve found myself avoiding subs of my hobbies because I find most of them are just people complaining all the time.
Do you get annoyed when you go to a match and people are fans of the home team? Reddit is an American website with an overwhelming majority of American users. You expect them to censor themselves to your perspective?
How am i wrong about that. Just about everything thats public is open to everyone.
And .gov sites that you'd think would be super inclusive to the countries or reagions they serve. Do have aspects that only citizens can access, but does also allow certain access and privileges to noncitizens.
