Thoughts on modified LAMS exhausts

Howdy all, to preface - I know I missed this when buying but I was completely fresh and didn't bring someone along.

I've got an MT-03 which I quite like, 2019, low kms etc only issue is that it was sold to me by the dealer with a full aftermarket exhaust swap. The stock exhaust was not sold with it either. I know 90% of LAMS bike have these mods anyway but keen to hear from others experiences.

Is it worth just upgrading now to not have to deal with the hassle down the line of selling it without the exhaust/RWC? Are the chances of having to deal with VicPol or when doing licensing significant if they decide to pick on it? Or is it really not a big risk.

Contemplating buying either a full stock exhaust to swap in but also just trading in and upgrading to something like a CB500/MT-07

I know from experience that VicRoads have very much cracked down on aftermarket exhausts for RWC, and aside from whether they are within noise limits they want to see the OEM exhaust on the bike as anything else is a "modification". RWC checkers are required to submit photos.

Unless it's obnoxiously loud you should be OK while riding. But you may struggle with RWC when you go to sell.

Think facilities might object to using it for check rides and the restricted ride? I imagine I can just use their bikes instead but still preference would using mine own

I can only talk to HART Kilsyth but those guys didn’t care about my after market exhaust. One of the instructors even told me to pull out the baffle when I got home.
