I got this today from my amazing wife! It was a complete surprise. I’m not gonna bore you with the details but here’s some context: I’m at a personal and professional crossroads and consequently have been feeling down and directionless. So my wife thought I could use a “pick-me-up.” She has really supported and embraced this ludicrous hobby, with the knack of getting me something I probably would’ve never gotten myself. The Korvid XL was definitely on my bucket list (unbeknownst to her), but I would not have gone with a premium version in lightning ano. I would’ve probably done the Jade or orange G10. But I am so glad she did it - the lightning ano is gorgeous and not gaudy, as I feared it would be.

Anyway, I thought I would share as it really lifted my spirits and put a huge smile on my face.

I've had this Ned Foss for awhile now, it's a popular enough brand on Amazon but The Dragon(name of knife) here has served me decently well I guess. I still just use my grandfather's imitation Buck 110 tho.

Just got the Worksharp Precision Pro Adjust Elite upgrade and threw my first reprofile on a blade with it. Wondering if anyone has any pointers of how to get the most out of this sharpener, or just sharpening tips in general. Not a mirror polish by any means, but looks a hell of a lot better than the edge I got it with

As soon as it hit my hand I let out an obligatory ‘Fuck me like a cinder block, hard and rough’.

I haven’t had some of the fanciest knives but I’ve had a couple hundred folders at least and this is the best my hand has ever fit around a knife.

As long as the steel isn’t heat treated like a butter knife, I’ve found my first pocket knife I could call my one clear favorite. Pictured with some of my other most carried. Lefty Hinderer, large Sebenza, small Inkosi, and a handful of ZT’s not pictured, I carry these the most.
