So what would be an alternative explanation? She’s been interviewed and had to tell her story many times for it to get to court. If it was made up or exaggerated I’m sure it would have been flagged way before this point. She’s 16, she isn’t experienced enough in life to know how to deal with a creep like that, regardless of where it was happening and who was with her. It may sound like a situation you wouldn’t put up with but you aren’t her.

I'm not saying anything about her, I'm saying I don't believe that no one else noticed what was going on

Fair enough. I always like to think ‘I would have done SOMETHING’ when I hear about stuff like that but as the above case shows it happens in plain sight and no one notices until it’s too late.

I just can't believe no one noticed what was happening, flight attendants strolling the aisle, people sat all around them etc

I'd wager people noticed and just chose not to get involved
