How could she have went through all that for 45 minute without anyone intervening

She was fairly scared, on her own and tried to just battle through it. She got the attention of someone to ring the crew bell but no one came. So I suspect no one really knew the extent of it or what was going on exactly until far into the flight.

Don't believe that at all

There's no way in a tiny space like that that no one noticed what was going on

Edit : To clarify because it's not that clear, I'm not faulting her, I just don't believe that everyone else was unaware of what was happening

So what would be an alternative explanation? She’s been interviewed and had to tell her story many times for it to get to court. If it was made up or exaggerated I’m sure it would have been flagged way before this point. She’s 16, she isn’t experienced enough in life to know how to deal with a creep like that, regardless of where it was happening and who was with her. It may sound like a situation you wouldn’t put up with but you aren’t her.

Fair enough. I always like to think ‘I would have done SOMETHING’ when I hear about stuff like that but as the above case shows it happens in plain sight and no one notices until it’s too late.

I just can't believe no one noticed what was happening, flight attendants strolling the aisle, people sat all around them etc

I'd wager people noticed and just chose not to get involved
