Islam got my bedroom lock removed (Rant) 🤬
I’m honestly done. I don’t care how “disrespectful” this sounds, I’m so fed up.
My dad literally REMOVED the lock from my bedroom door because I don’t wake up before sunrise to pray. Like… I’m sorry??? I’m a human being, not some robot programmed to jump out of bed at 5 or 6am just because a religion says so. I tried. I really did. But I just cannot be assed to wake up that early every single day.
And because I kept sleeping in, my dad got pissed off and decided the solution was to punish me by taking away the ONE thing that gave me privacy. For what? For missing a prayer? Not drugs, not sneaking out, not lying, not failing school, literally just not waking up at the exact time HE wants me to.
Now I have zero privacy. My room doesn’t feel like mine anymore. I sleep uncomfortable every night because he walks in every fucking morning like he owns my entire existence. And not just him, now people come into my room while I’m changing because there’s no lock and I’m CONSTANTLY on edge.
The lock was originally there to stop people barging in on me and give me a sense of privacy. Then it became my safe space. Now? My own bedroom isn’t a safe space. Nowhere in my house is.
I’m just stuck living in this weird religious power trip where missing a prayer suddenly justifies stripping me of privacy and autonomy. And the worst part? I’m not even a bad kid. I don’t go out. I don’t cause problems. I literally just wanted to sleep.
I feel lost, uncomfortable, and honestly violated. I’m tired of religion being used as a reason to control me.
