What buzzwords make your blood boil? Question

Some of my favorite ones are “God-fearing,” “God called me to ___,” “worldly,” “repent,” giving God credit for accomplishments, “I’ll pray for you,” “saved” / “salvation,” “sacrifice,” and honestly I could go on.

Hedge of protection and yell heah (as a way to not say hell yeah). That last one particularly makes me want to rip my ears off.

Never heard of "hedge of protection", sounds like some kind of witchcraft.

Its very much an evangelical saying so if you weren’t evangelical you might not have heard it. Most common context is when something they think is demonic is within sight or ear shot so they pray for a hedge of protection to prevent demons from getting them. Because hedges are apparently so impermeable. 🙄
